*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

That in general or just for this game? I connected the PS5 pro controller to my PC over weekend via bluetooth, didn't test it in any games though.

I'm currently using a dualsense over bluetooth with DS4Windows to make it look like an xbox controller to the PC. You get the xbox icons which doesn't bother me but you could probably mod anyway

but based on @Buddy 's post further up I'm thinking to use a cable to take advantage of the adaptive triggers.

The Hoonigan Ken Block tribute mod is a cool car to add as well, looks rather fetching and fits in with the restomod aesthetic of the other cars too.

It works fine as long as you run the game through Steam, I can't get mine recognised outside of it though (e.g. directly through GOG). Might give it a try wired just to see what the adaptive triggers are all about though :)

I did that with GTA4 and 5, pick up the wireless controller when driving and flying, go back to M&KB for everything else.

Now though in Cyberpunk, driving with keyboard and mouse is just better because of the responsiveness of mouse camera movement, can instantly look around and drift etc whilst still panning the camera effectively, feels more cinematic that way too I find.

I’ve been playing this game for the first time. Done about 20 hours on Act 2 I think. Not sure how it progresses. On the Evelyn and Judy storyline where you rescue her. I’m wondering how far into the game is this? I’ve got about 200K, done plenty side missions, and just found the good weapons in the game upto tier 3. Upgraded a little cyberwars and perks. Got Body to 16 and a few others to 7-8. Still taking it all in. Should I spend more cash now on upgrades cash or is money harder to come by as I progress?

Try to get technical ability to at least 15, that's when various doors are able to be opened easily hiding some good loot or access to areas etc. I can't recall how far in that is but 20 hours is still early days into the quest assuming you've been doing side stuff too, but if it's only primary quest you've done then the game is about 25 hours long. Adding the side quests pushes you over 100 hours fairly easily as you explore and skill up quite substantially which benefits the main story a lot.

In fact most of the side quests supplement the main and end up being a greater experience than the main story in many ways.

You can refund and re-apply perk points so no need to worry about cash for them, you can also buy vehicles cheap for doing the car drops for El Captain once you get to him, so spend money on apartments and some decent weapons, then steadily upgrade them assuming you've already picked a cyberware style and started to develop that.

Also, I highly recommend Preem Water mod, better waves on water and better reflection control too. Vanilla water feels a bit basic by comparison. Choose your flavour, I like Pure the most

Edit*

Encountered a funny glitch last night

And realised the SVJ is perfect for trolling the cops:

I'd say packs are not too pressing tbh having now tested out a whole bunch of mods and not seen any issues. In the past it would have been a concern either way as if the game updates then you have to either wait for the mod authors to update each mod, or the pack author to update the mod - But since the game is getting no more updates, this isn't a worry any more really.

Just press the track button on nexus for any mod you do install and periodically check your tracked notifications or list for updates and install as needed.

I finally started playing this over the Christmas break, only a few hours in, have done a few side missions and explored the city a bit, my next main quest is The Heist - still early days but I'm really liking it so far.
Will finish the play through before I start playing with Mods though.
