Dalglish resigned/sacked?

Unsure of this to be honest, yes I would support him as our new manager, but really.....is he any better than Dalglish?

would say no worse, and has age on his side to continue developing as a coach/manager.

just hope if he is appointed he gets the support required from within the club to be able to do the best he can.

The whole thing is a farse, if they were going to sack Kenny you think that they would have some names in their head that they would approach.
The fact that we have gone a while without a solid shout for a new manager is worrying for me. We dont want to be making rash decisions if we dont know how to resolve them.

This is typical though in this day of football, sod loyalty, sod respect, sod history, sod skills. Lets just find someone who is prepared to take the job........

The England appointment was a joke too!

He'll get the support if he shows the passion, desire and need to improve, just like any manager. Liverpool fans, like myself will always recognise these qualities. Although some are very shallow in their expressions of it.

Respect is earnt afterall. What he has done with Swansea is astonishing and he deserves a crack without doubt. Id rather him that Martinez anyday, Martinez's praise is coming from the depths but why was he there in the first place scares me.

Good luck Brendan, if FSG have given up on DoF style and you've fought your case well one good impression you've made, don't need another yes man.

Undecided on this personally. He's got a lot of potential as a manager, and despite his Reading spell is generally well thought of. He's done nothing so far to show that he can do the Liverpool job though. We need somebody who can rebuild a team.

Id of thought this too but and im a united fan.

everyone needs a chance but this is a gamble if you ask me.

Rafa probably would have been ideal, not sure I'd want to risk throwing him into the job though considering how its gone to **** recently.

Also probably won't be employed by the club whilst ian ayre is employed by the club, after what he said about Rafa according to some journo, forget which in a pub and the way he called out Suarez was pathetic, can't wait until he is relieved of that position.

Yeah, I agree. Rodgers deserves a chance, I just wish it wasn't us throwing the dice on him! He could do a David Moyes, stay for 10 years and be brilliant, or he could do a Roy Keane and explode within a season.

Good joke mate, go spend your G's!

Shame I'm not actually joking. As I'm local to Reading I witnessed first hand how poor he was with a team not suited to his style of play. I could be very wrong, and in some ways I hope I am, but I would be very surprised if Liverpool weren't struggling badly by Christmas.

Well well well, hope he proves me wrong but when he 'ruled' himself out of the job I thought he was just taking the **** and was never a serious candidate for the job.
