Dalglish resigned/sacked?

Says it all, the only person who makes sense is Benitez, then again the retarded side of our fan base and the retards running the club who probably advised the new owners got him sacked. (Sup Purslow u *******.)

What is it with you and this blind defense of Rafa? Now i know he did some good for us but he also mis treat allot of our players Alonso being the main one.

If he got a 2nd stint id support him but its a backwards step like KD is/was we need a fresh new manager not going back to old ones.

Blind defence? I've been over it many a time before why he was/is great? Every manager has fallouts with players, how many has Ferguson binned over the years who were great players he fell out with?

And some good? He had the second highest win % of any Liverpool manager post war did he not? I'll not bother going on, there was a reason other teams didn't like Rafa and liked Hodgson being our manager, Kenny also now.

Also the day Rafa was sacked was the day the club continued to sprint backwards, getting in new owners was a step in the right direction, but then the way the money has been spent we might aswell have had 20m to spend

I know what you are saying , but I would say SAF binned / got rid of majority of great players at the right time

Keane is a legend, but he was already on the slippery slope before the MUTV incident.

Beckham had a few really good years in Madrid, but it could be argued him leavin gave the space for Ronaldo to become the player he is (and the press attention for Becks was a huge factor to start with which Fergie was sick of).

RvN - could be argued a tad early, but the player has admitted he was wrong in what happened as well so its harsh to blame SAF completely.

Alonso on the other hand has had 3? years already at RM - and from the casual observer slill looks in peak form (although I dont watch them consistantly).

I liked Rafa as your manager, has was taking Liverpool no where fast as well :D
In his last season yes, spent too much time fighting with the owners.

Stam? RvN definitely early, Beckham also, Keane you're right. The only one really he didn't offload was Rooney basically because United need him/no longer have the funds to replace at ease.

Also he let Alonso go, he also brought in Reina, Torres, Masch, Lucas, Johnson, Agger, Skrtel, Insua, and other great players for the money he had at his disposal. He also helped develop Carra and Gerrard quite a bit.

I'm with you. Rafa's time has been and gone and we shouldn't hark back to the past. We need someone to wake the squad up and get something from the individuals, that are meant to be decent...which we'll need to do going on the likely amount of money for new players. It doesn't even have to be anything long term at all, just so long as the team get it drummed into their heads that they can actually play (once again)!

Martinez and Lambert should be able to do this and to a lesser extent maybe AVB...but Benitez!?

The Liverpool fans couldn't wait to hate Hodgson. Just like they can't wait to hate him now he's England manager. It's pathetic and petty.

Yea, Hodgson had always been hated in Liverpool. The fact that he was useless, lied to supporters and criticised supporters that were fighting for the survival of their club had nothing to do with it of course.

As much as we were **** in the league, and FSG weren't around to see what he did for the club in the past I'm still a little shocked, maybe he walked and felt it was for the best, I doubt it though.

The replacement better be stunning or they will have alienated many Liverpool fans, particularly the older ones, lets hope it is a step forward. RAWK already going in to meltdown with the ****ging off the owners.

Took him / the owners long enough.

Liverpool have been terrible this season, only difference was Dalglish was in charge.
