Dark Souls 2 - Thread

I bought Scholar simply because I wanted the new enemy placements. Tbh though, it actually looks worse than I had the game with enb. Have to wait for an enb for the update to come out and see how this is.

PS. I already noticed an additional petrified NPC in the start area!

It won't happen. ENB is for DX9 games and the new Dark Souls 2 is DX11.

And don't bother spending 12k souls on the branch of yore to see what's behind the stone npc.

Doubt I'll get an answer to this, but anyone know how to make Dark Souls 2 and SOTFS work properly in 21:9?

Flawless Widescreen only allows you to play with an annoying border and has black bars runnings across the screen during cutscenes.

Guys I bought DS2 Sotfs.
I've red on the internet that there're few changes in weapons placement.
How about the stats?Which build are doing well now?
I played through DS2 with magic build.
I'd like to try faith/strenght build this time around,or would be better to go for faith/dex?

I think it is worth it.
I bought it for 11 quid and I played 60 hours in DS2.
There're many new additon which make game feel fresh, and you have all new dlc (which I haven't seen yet).Graphic looks better than moded DS2.

I went for it in the end, never finished the 3rd dlc so will replay it all

Graphics wise its a subtle increase imo, lighting is nicer etc and everything looks smoother

But i think i notice it as i played like 100 hours of the base game across ps3 then to pc

Comparison shots/vids dont do it justice

I have set nvidia to upscale to 1440p too on my 1080 screen and it looks really crisp!

Coming off the back of bloodborne though, it is a much slower paced game! Need to get the feel back for it! Trying dual wield

Don't forget to invest some points in adaptability.
I'm playing with dual sword build as well.
I think all spells, miracle etc. look better now.
