Not 100% sure on all of the fixes I'll need but I've got a couple of links to checkout once game is downloaded. Is the internal res fix the only critical one?

I would activate mine on Steam but that would require me to download it wouldn't it? My retail is installed elsewhere of course. Or can you just copy the installed folder over to Steam once it starts to download.
 
Is my gear alright for where I'm at? Not using any guides and this is my first playthrough.

Havel's ring
Ring of evil eye
Shield from the black knight near red dragon.

I've only rung the top bell and have to explore blight town next. Just killed that big leech on the wall. The problem for me is I can't seem to find any more of those lizards to upgrade my weapon anymore and can't find anymore shards to further upgrade my armour. Should I be using better gear, if so where can I find em. I just killed that red dragon and he didn't drop anything. I've just found out about humanity increasing drop rate so will be going around in +8 humanity or so from now on.

I got the Elite Knight Armour and Stone Knight Armour from Darkroot Garden first off, now rolling in Silver Knight Gear :D

Hank your equipment looks fine, you're soul level is high too! I'm only around 45-50 and im at Anor Londo!

However I'm seriously ****ed off with this game atm, just lost me 160k souls and way over 10 humanity because a black phantom came out of nowhere and backstabbed me while I was fighting a sentinel :mad::mad::mad::mad: Also Solaire got attacked by a silver knight and turned on me, so now he's dead too! :mad::mad::mad:

Boss fight that was barely possible with him is not impossible :( No summon signs in an hour! :(

I had no summon signs all day yesterday. Today I have seen loads, not sure if it is server problems as we are all on different servers so to speak. But today I have had lots and lots of signs. But a lot of them just fail, ie "Summon Failed" takes many tries to get someone to join. I just wonder if others have the ports open, I know I have.

So stupid that they have such a terrible netcode for a game where some of the bosses do require co-op to get past without stupid amounts of time :(
 
Think it's time for me to start a new save, after about 18 attempts I have come to the conclusion with my current character, without a summon, O&S will be impossible.

Hate on, it's a good game.

Anyway I love playing with the song from the Dark Souls trailer in the background, it's just so awesome and suits the game so much :D (The Silent Comedy - Bartholomew)
