***Dayz: Stand Alone Thread***

I dunno I just wish people would die, yeah it takes a long time to head north and of course you don't want to die. But for the love of god I wish players would man up. Server hoppers was not an issue on the mod as it always took ages to login.
 
Some bloke in a blue shirt ran towards me and towards nw airfield, I hit him with my axe multiple times and kept on hitting him. He just took it and then ran off and through a wall and a building!
 
A quick video of me earlier on the OCUK server failing at jumping 3 armed guys with only a knife.

Damn, stalked someone @ NW Airfield at the tents, took him down only for some one else to kill me while looting :s Had a lot of stuff (including sooooooooo much ammo and a fully pimped M4 :() Irritating this was I pumped loads of rounds into the guy (atleast on my screen) and he didnt die :(

haha

The knife is so bad, I literally stabbed a guy 7 times in the head only for him to turn around and 1 punch KO me. Makes no sense!
 
spawned by balota shot straight away, then spawned to the west of balota made my way across got my self a m4 with no bullets thats after searching all the tents, anyone fancy teaming up or anything fed up of running into players armed to the teeth its getting really hard to get a start in the game when all people do is SOS
 
lol @ the vid, clearly 3rd person cam working as intended :p

I actually came home last night and loaded this up, followed others advice and headed round the coast, got to the shipwreck and had a nice plunder, found loads of stuff, then went up to the higher levels.

For some reason after coming off the stairs my guy thought he would rather jump to his death :p
 
This game is driving me mad, twice now, no weapons, even take my shirt and shoes off to show that I'm not a threat to anyone.....guy fully kitted stares at me, i wave, he then shoots. :| WHY!? >_<
 
cause people like to kill people. :D

i kill everyone i see unless on my ts . some people are pure bandits its just how they play.

Unfortunately there is so little content that there's not much else to do apart from kill people.
 
Why are you trying to wave at people? Co-op in this game is dead, if you want to foster that you can get kitted up and help newbies. Just expect to be smashed in the head by someone you just helped so they can steal your stuff.

If I recall correctly there should be some mechanics later which will encourage co-op, but not currently. Currently its find stuff/kill people.

From experience the unkitted player might be on vent/mumble/teamspeak letting his armed friends know there is someone with gear nearby. If unarmed I tell them to keep running in the other direction and dont look back, if they do I kill them.
