I played this last night as my Epoch buddy was off line. You know what, I really enjoyed it, despite not understanding the ammo situation.
I was up stairs in the military building with gaol cell in it in Balota; I was trying to work out how to carry two rifles, because I found a SKS rifle with ammo in there, and I only had a few bullets for my Mosin.
I heard someone coming up the stairs so I kneeled behind the bed with my rifle trained on the door entrance. Unfortunately the player saw me before coming into the room, so he stayed outside and ordered me to put down my rifle.
Long story short, we had a hilarious stand off which lasted between 10-15 minutes. The guy was Finnish, and he was recording the incident. I knew he would shoot me despite promises to the contrary, so I wasn't going to lay down my arms. Eventually he tried to run across the doorway while shooting his shotgun, which was the prompt I needed to rush him successfully.
He was dead, I was trying to swap backpacks with his corpse when two guys entered the building. I adjusted quickly and shot one in the arm as he climbed the stairs. He ran to cover before his mate took a pop at me. He missed.
There were four players on the server and all of us were in the same building, albeit one was a corpse. I spoke with the two guys who agreed to just leave without further conflict.
I took what I could off the Finnish guy's body and logged out, but sadly I left my Mosin on the floor because I still hadn't worked out how to carry two rifles.
