Anyway anything actually good happening with this apart from different items of food / clothing and some basic things being added from DayZ mod?

Played a little bit with friends a week or so ago and it was still the same old rubbish. Press button to equip rifle.... nothing happens, press button again... rifle equipped, aim at bandit, just about to fire, player switches to axe or bare hands - shot by bandit.

The control / inventory system is completely bugged and slow, the old system in the mod was better than this...

It's very easy to open a tin that way. Lawd, how ignorant are you?
 
Only played this once since the last update, only memorable thing from playing it last time was me and two friends finding some boar around Novy Sobor. Killed one of them and realised we had no suitable tools to take any thing from it.

Five minutes later I had to leave to do something for twenty minutes so I hid in some woods behind the piano building in Novy Sobor. Told my friends to go off and do whatever if I wasn't back after five minutes (didn't know how long I would be away at the time). I came back twenty minutes later to find they'd cut down half of the trees surrounding me and were now chasing some boar around Novy Sobor.

I don't think we saw a single person in the three hours we were on there though and we were on a server which was near-enough full the whole time, considering we went Novy > Stary > VMC > Vybor > Pustoshka it seems a bit strange.

Went on this again last night with a rather large group, and it totally changes the feel of the game.

The little issues (or rather large ones depending on your perspective!) soon stop irritating when you get into a good fire fight, hunt some game and then set up a camp fire. Chopping down trees to produce ground cover is also a nice addition. It's just an entertaining game with some really quite charming touches...such as the stupid number of hats you can get and the variety of wool jackets...

When, or rather if this game gets finished, it should be an absolute corker. The lack of destructible buildings is a little irritating though, and that is something that simply will not change.
 
Got a link to the info mate ? If its true great news. Finally some real progress. :D

I hope they have sneaked in another 60 hats and 70 variety's of wolly jackets. Just to keep the whingers happy.
