I think we'd need to be there earlier to do that. I've no objection to going there early afternoon, but I suspect people would want something more substantial in the evening.
 
stick with 3-4pm.

That way I'd do lunch for my wife and son and then leave when he's having his afternoon nap (appoligies if that to domestic for you :p :D )

I can live without pie for dinner ;) just let's not settle for a burger and fries.

Well, certainly not McD's burger and fries anyway. Old Orleans or Nandos would be my pick for being popular, but I have to admit I didn't find them when I was there (they're on my map though, so I'm sure they are there). :)

Pie and ale is great at lunchtime, but I don't think it's so good in the evening. :(

there is a possiblity that I might have to cry off this meeting unfortunately ;( real life and work (35 hour week so far and it's only wednesday morning) are rearing there ugly head. I'll try and make it there, if someone who is going could pm me there mobile number I'll try and catch up with you a bit later in the afternoon.

How about we have pie and and a pint you have paella and a jug of sangria?

I actually considered asking if she could change the dates.

Then thought about it and realised my goolies are still important to me! :eek:
