sorry to hear that you can't make it Stan :(

hopefully the distributed nature will mean that you can get a beer and a pie locally and then and join us via some 3G video wizardry? or perhaps next time round if there is one :D

If people could copy this post, add there names and paste again at the bottom of your post so I have a list of numbers.

(but that more pie for us :D )

Lots more :p

I hope you enjoy yourselves.

Whilst you're stuffing your faces with pies and drinking yourselves into a stupor, I'll be spamming away, slagging you all off in here :D

I will have pies and beer in for that night - I can be the DC meet remote client \o/

Stan :)

Sorry to hear you can't make it stan, there'll be plenty of other chances though I'm sure :)

Thats what I was thinking.

Oh what the hell. I can sort that out when the venue gets sorted.

Stan, shame I don't have room here (filled with PCs and bits), but you'd have had to sacrifice drinking time and I know that's not on. :(

Anyway, as a (relative) local I'm pretty flexible on arrangements as long as it's near the town centre. Do have to catch the last train home unfortunately as money's a bit tight right now.

Anyway, I'd recommend people book their own B&B (though agreeing on which one is a good idea).

My knowledge of Reading is too poor to name venues (I'll have to look at maps to find them :o ).

trust the Don to break the chain  :D

Maybe we need a thread in GD :-

"The completely innocent need to know a decent drinking venue in Reading out of idle curiosity for no particular reason thread" ;)

I only know the pub by the station which is usually full of London Irish fans moaning about losing to Bristol again. And Westcountrymen pinching themselves :D
