DCS: A-10C Warthog (first screens!)

I'm struggling with my X52 in DCS A10 - wondered if anyone can help

with it plugged in - no drivers and no Saitek profile software loaded - everything AOK - but most buttons etc not mapped - and would take forever to get everything mapped etc

so downloaded Saitek drivers/profile software, installed, then used one of the excellent community X52 profiles for A10

all fine - as it maps the default "keys" to the X52 buttons, sliders etc etc

BUT it doesn't seem to fully work - when I press the right keys on the X52 it shows on the LCD screen the right button - say "gears" or whatever - but doesn't work in A10 ...

but more of a problem it seems to be locking my keyboard out regularly ??? alsmost as if its polling as a keyboard would - but so much that its saturating out any keyboard commands, so if I use any of the joystick sliders etc in game - suddenly my keyboard won't work at all - can't use any of the F keys for views, I can't even press ESC to quit mission etc - if I leave joystick alone for a while - keyboard comes back into use.....

any ideas ? thanks

Make sure the slider near your left thumb is in the center, depending on bindings. In control panel it's labeled "Slider" right below Y Rotation.
It does it for me sometimes but only because it's set to deploy/retract airbrakes (A and S iirc).

Hey fellas,

Quick Q - MUst be dumb cause Im missing something, but purchased the Beta and understand the "final" version is out now.

How do I download this version, I guess I dont have to go through the shopping/cart procedure as I have already purchased and have serial?

Do I just go to download section, see the latest version there appears to be 1.1.0.6, can anyone confirm this is the latest non-beta version?

Nate--IRL-- Hi m8 I am having performance issues after the new patch like many have any tips ? been looking at the posts on DCS but no joy some have and some not.

OK,

I have made the plunge and bought this last night, it seems an amazing piece of work so far. I am one of the unfortunate people having the crash on explosion with the new patch, but hopefully the beta nvidia drivers will sort this.

Here is a Question, are there any online training servers? I would love to be able to train with someone who knows what he is doing! I did have a look at the server browser but only saw 10ish servers.

Also any other advice for a new guy? (I already have someone printing the manual for me and have a print out of all the hat functions and how they map to my x-52)

Yeah the 1.1.0.6 patch could be a bit more stable. 1.1.0.7 is on its way though.

To solve the Controls crashes go to --> C:\Users\<User Name>\Saved Games\DCS Warthog\Config and delete the input folder.

Also if running an Nvidia GPU try the latest beta drivers, some have reported this helps. Oh and don't alt-tab from fullscreen, if you can help it, that can cause a crash with explosions.
