US: DC's Legends of Tomorrow

well I for one will be happy to see some more of
sarah lance
I hope her increasingly tight clothing continues on in this series

Even better with less clothing

special effects done on a commodore 64, acting by local amateur dramatic society, WTF dialogue.... I dunno about this one it might be a superhero show too far.

good news is, it cannot get worse.

I think Rip is lying about them being Legend's. He's gone back in time, found a group of people already thought dead, or that no one really cares about that are expendable and won't mess up the timeline if they suddenly disappear. They just take it he's telling the truth and it's a self fulfilling prophecy...

Called it :D

Not bad, on my playlist for the time being :D

Wasn't Gideon evil future Flash's computer too
yes and designed/built by the flash (barry) in the future (well later than the tv series).... still not sure why they're not using the one in star labs because I'm pretty sure it's still there.
Put it in spoiler to keep it clean for everyone :)

As to the LoT premiere... well at least they didn't call them time lords :o
I will see how it pans out, you can tell that Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller have worked together for a long time (Prison Break) as they just seem so 'natural' around each other.

Prison Break is being rebooted (new season). :D

Hmm. With such an effects laden show, if it doesn't bring in decent numbers it'll be cancelled in short order due to the expense. Other FX heavy shows need to bring in good numbers to stand a fighting chance and many a good Sci-Fi show has been axed because of it.

It's a CW show, things last for multiple seasons there with viewing figures that would get a show cancelled after one episode on other channels. So they will at the very least give it a chance to get going :)

Looks too expensive (cast wise) to survive on such flat opening note.

Surely Hawkman with his 4,000 years worth of memories is aware of where Savage is at certain times (You know, these memorable moments when they've died at his hands etc). Sounds like a gaping hole.

Should be easy enough to sort it all out, go back to ancient egypt, right before it all kicked off.. kick savage in the nuts.. no evil spell, no immortality, no need for lots of faffing around.. all over in 2 episodes tops..

Well Rip Hunter did come first but they didn't do anyone any favours on that front by using Arthur Darvill and dressing him up like that (or by renaming the Linear Men the Time Masters). Should have kept him to his comic look, it's not like it could look that stupid when he's sharing screentime with Hawkman and Horsegirl.

It's obviously intentional, i mean come on.. Rory...

I was convinced it was Constantine at first.

Anyway, thought it was terrible.

Hawk people - just annoyed me.
Hot/Cold blokes - Are they that bad actors or where they told to play the parts like that (yes, seen them in Flash and Prison Break).
Fire bloke(s) - Yawn.
Black Canary reject - at least her [on-screen] sister wasn't in it (too much).
Atom - only character I am really interested in. Can we kill the rest off?

I think the problem is that there are too many 'heroes' in it so way too much time wasted flitting between them.

Will stick with it for awhile. Hopefully will get better like a lot of these shows do.
