*** Dell UltraSharp U2410 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor @ £447.99 inc VAT ***

if the mount on the triple arm has horizontal adjustment you would have enough room in a plate to add vertical adjustment also or just add it into the plate. Something like this i guess.

It Pivots up and down and left to right.

I will have a go at creating that :)

It needs to drop by a CM...

Im not sure if it will work tbh... as the monitor will be extended by 8mm from the mounts holes... :/

£500 for the A02 now? Blimey!

Is the only difference between the A01 and A02 revisions the firmware? Because if it's just a case of doing a firmware upgrade I'll get the cheaper A01 thanks.

I'm gambling that it'll work with my new PS3 Slim 320GB. I've only seen that one report of the U2410 and PS3 Slim not working together, and if it doesn't work I'll just return the monitor.

My PS3 does work with my Dell 2407FPW, so it does at least work with some monitors.

I don't get how it wouldn't? It's just HDMI

Yeah I know, unless it's a HDCP thing.

It's probably just one guy who had a problem and the tech support guy just said it's not supported to get him off the phone.

Bit like when Virgin Media tells me the router I've been using for years is the reason my internet connection dropped...

Edit: In case it's not cler I'm talking about this: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/peripherals/f/3529/p/19343291/19738260.aspx

What the chances of this A02 being the last revision firmware?

I looked at the carry on of updating firmware & the various stages... Decided to buy it with the firmware already sorted despite being capable of updating firmware on other cheaper devices such as optical drives.

I'm very happy with the A02 update from OC and this made it worth paying slightly more for :)

Dell arnt a competitor they are a manufacturer and supplier. I cant see how they can stop you linking a company selling its own product. Its no different to Hazro. If i had the choice as many of you have then go for the U2711. Its price is far far to close to the U2410. When i got my U2410 the price difference was like £300 which is a fair bit.

My point was I dont think your supposed to blatantly tell people how to buy items elsewhere that OcUK sell.

Still its not my problem, was only trying to be friendly :D I'll learn.

In any case if I was going bigger I'd save a bit and get the Dell 30" :D which is what I plan in Jan/Feb :D Rotate the 2 24" dells and place them either side :D

Depends on your needs I suppose.

U2711 Cheapness

Just looked this U2711 deal up. £524.25 ex VAT, so £615.99 inc VAT.

Coupon 311QLKV7PMK49? makes it £554.39 inc (£471.82 ex).

Pretty sure that makes them cheaper than they sell the U2410 for.
