Destiny 2... It's a coming!

well ma headset arrived and by god it was garbage sounding couldn't even here my own gun firing but everything else was loud so its going back not impressed. what are you guys using that sounds decent enough?

I would get a pair of AKG K702 or AKG K712PRO, I have a pair of AKG Q701 and they are great for games and media.

Ya usb headsets are ****.. spent little extra and get some decent cans and external amp or decent soundcard. Have never figured out why people buy cheap and gimmicky headphones and monitors they are the most important components to any decent gaming rig.

They should have started the last stream outlining they're QOL strategy before trying to sell people on a new expansion.
If they have nothing to show other than campaign missions and a couple of strikes, then you cant blame people from throwing in the towel.

At this point I have very little faith that Bungie will be able to turn this around.

Ooooo, disagree! Asus Zonar STX paired with Senn 650 HD's are working well for me!

As for game discussion, are they going to make a way of finding players easier? Finding it really lonely at the moment unless a RL friend joins.

650 are decent for music but rather have 599s for gaming.. a lot better soundstage.
 
Ah cool, looks good. I picked up some Astro A50's when they were on offer a while back and while they are ok I think I will bin them off at some point and do something like the above then.

Wont be going wireless again either!

The 'new' strikes we're getting seem to be story missions that we've all ran before so nothing really new there either. I'll admit I'm at the stage now where I log in for weekly milestones and apart from raiding with the guys off here when a full group is around I've lost the drive to log in and farm tokens, it doesn't feel rewarding and with gear being rng it's not like you can sit down and farm a specific set out.

If you don't have all the special guns you could do them. I only need the rat one now but it involves playing with groups so it's more difficult to get, for me.

yeah, Bungie seem oblivious to what made D1 popular and kept people coming back.
 
I've only heard the 650s through a SBZ sound card so may be the reason why..

i am an audiophile and i use the beyerdynamic mx300 manufactur. i have plenty of senheisser gear and the mx300 are closer to a hd650 than you would expect for a closed can.

the mx300 cost a bomb but i use them more than any other cans or buds you can customise the colour and the finish. i went all black but viper green with carbon fibre looks the dogs.

Got them all with the exception of the raid shotgun but on with that quest from time to time.
