Destiny 2... It's a coming!

I was just saying last night I hope Xursday brought me some good wares. Really wanted Merciless so I'm happy, will buy the Starfire Protocol too. Was never a fan of that one in D1. Preferred the Voidfang Vestments

Will have to pick up Merciless.

I must say PvP on PC is night and day better than PvP on console. It feels like D1 in terms of speed and doesn't commit the cardinal sin of being boring (despite being functionally identical).

It is weird as the cool-downs aren't different yet the way the game flows is completely different (I am not talking about the normal PC "enhancements" like higher FPS, wider FoV etc).

JP and I nearly dragged our team of two randos to a victory against a full clan (which of course included the token Hunter who was useless without his invis + sword combo). I think the game ended at 49 vs 52.

So we had a stream in the new activities tuesday and they seemed fairly underwhelming with little content, let alone end game content.

We also have a raid lair that is smaller than leviathan.

And then this: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/destiny-2s-version-of-mercury-is-underwhelming-so-/1100-6455133/

'Mercury as a destination is actually a rather small, circular area on the planet called the Fields of Glass, which is connected to the Lighthouse that Bungie showed off last week. The most notable thing about the new map is the assortment of powerful, "high-value target" enemies you can fight--there seems to be more of them in the Fields of Glass than at other locations in Destiny 2. Other than that, it's an unremarkable donut map, and we couldn't even summon Sparrows there--seemingly to mask how small the area is'

Not holding out much hope for this expansion.

Merciless apparently is top tier, haven't really found a good use of it yet though, much prefer using rocket launchers with cluster bomb as these do a lot of damage.

Kinda miss the times from D1 where having certain weapons for certain encounters made a massive difference.

Not really, I enjoy both but Warframe felt more of a progression system as you can get items you want (with the exception of weekend events if they still do those) where as Destiny is RNG for your drops.

That was a good game gotta be fair, lagged a bit but was so close. I still say we would have won if it wasn't for those 2 laggy titans lol I was shooting him as he was running away and was getting nothing.

Oh and also the warlock running away from us all the time :D
