hey guys,

wonder if anyone is having this issue;

my gpu just wont fully utilise and its making the gunplay feel inconsistent, there arent any bottlenecks i can see;

It sticks around 80% utilisation, I have the framerate limiter at 144hz which it will push looking at non built up areas but the moment i go into a gun fight im down in the 100-105 range, sometimes dropping to sub 100 but the GPU utilisation also remains low, the processor is only @ 50% so not sure why im not pushing more frames, is there some kind of engine issue?

all other games are fine and a timespy run utilises 99% of GPU all the time scoring 6,100 which is where id expect it.

What's the go-to for weapons in Crucible? Had a go with a couple of pulse rifles last night and seemed to work well. Rocket Launcher for cleaning up groups. Got to level 15 and did the first strike also.

How is everyone else getting on? Managed to hit my weekly contribution to the clan in one sitting last night haha!
 
I found the scout rifles were insanely good at PvP. I'm average at best but one game I went 2.22 and another I went 4.5. Critical hits are easy to land.
 
Anyone else's screen start flickering? Not like on or off but brightness flicker (if this makes sense?) after prolonged play time?

Also notice FPS lag when playing for extended periods? FPS counter holds steady but movement is choppy?

RX480, AOC Agon AG271QX (Free Sync Enabled), 4670k.

Smooth as butter when I first start, but 3 hours+ performance takes a nose dive. Swear a couple times last night it would stop my mouse from responding and I would be stuck firing without any mouse input.

Game restart seemed to fix things.
 
Those with the framerate issue...

An idea going around is that it is the CLAN stuff that is causing it. The Clan list doesn't populate in-game and those people in big clans like OCUK, may have the issue. I am in the OCUK clan... have the issue.
Anyone else in a clan with the issue - if so, what is the clan size?
Some are reporting they never had any issues until they joined a clan.

Let me know how it goes!.

Just installed latest windows update (1709) and still getting the issue. happens faster if i'm patrolling EDZ but usually it is about 30-45 minutes
 
Got myself to 245 Light level last night but the RNG element of gear is wow, insane. Worried its going to wear thin, real fast.

Easily pushing up to and past 100fps with everything max. I've turned depth of field down to high from highest as no visual impact and it was costing around 20-30fps!!!!

My question is, FXAA or SMAA? Neither seem to differ much in performance, but I feel FXAA gives a better look as distant jaggies are just the same as SMAA but up close they are softer and less sharp than SMAA.

Other than that, loving it. Playing a Warlock. Time to get stuck in :D
