Ill be on from 6.30pm - wanted to see if I could make my Hunter 32 but I think I stupidly got rid of raid armour that would have made me strength-biased before I considered his setup for CE

It was an awesome experience. I only got shards and the shader really but I'm happy to have just got a solid strategy down for it!

Anyone fancy doing the HM raid twice back to back? Both up to Crota then getting him done another day back to back? Seems rest of HM isn't that bad and unlikely to get stuck - its Crota that takes hours if you aren't lucky

What other day can you make it mate? Was thinking tomorrow to get to Crota twice and then Friday to finish him twice. Happy to change from tomorrow if more can do Thursday.

Just need people to have a decent enough setup over 2 characters and be available for both days. Perhaps Im being a bit ambitious tbh - happy just to do 2 raids on seperate days if thats easier and I suspect not as hard to organise...

If anyone needs a swordbearer for Crota HM let me know, I'll be happy to help. Can't tonight, but I'll help out this week.

I use the blink strike/3 down method, worked perfectly for my team. Venom also uses this one!

Ditto. Water Pistol DPS swordbearer team represent! Moon, do you want to try to get 2 HM clears this week too? Can do one tomorrow if you're around?

Tempted to stick to NM once we have all the weapon drops from HM though....

Expect a message or two from me - 32 Hunters that want to do the sword are gonna be too useful - desperate to make one myself...

Id rather volunteer myself if possible than ask anyone else - quite happy to try if people are ok with me messing up a bit. Im quite comfortable in the 3+3 invis routine but never tried that without the chalice etc...

You or Moon should join one of the raids as Id like to see how the HM tweaks differ, as I dont play Hunter much I dont always have confidence what I can get away with with Crota - wheres Lazy_boy lately, not seen him/had abuse from him for a few weeks

Put me down for friday please poly - Hunter 32. The Hunter really needs the helmet which allows you to pickup orbs to regen health if you ain't got it

Already done hard mode on the warlock up to the witch, and the hunter has seen up to the bridge too (oh and the hunter also finished off crota on normal mode - was all over the place today lol!)

Normal mode was a walk in the park compared to Hard mode last night!

Hixx taught me a new strategy for Crota today too which might be useful!! Titan bubble on the top of the stairs which was very interesting!

I've been doing it that way this evening, very handy for stopping the boomers shooting the sword carrier.

Poly, I may have to drop out of Friday's raid, it looks like I'm probably going out now. Can still do Wednesday which will be on my 32 Warlock. Might be worth bumping me to reserve for Friday as I'm not sure what time I'll get back.

Can also do any other nights if anything is happening.

You can update me to lvl 32! got me a black hammer and a second patience and time. Is that for pvp i never used it so far leveling up icebreaker so far.

Ideally have 'Horn for the bit with Crota with BH and your preferred primary. p&T is a good weapon but can't think of a specific role in CE raid other than it good to solo the abyss with it

Poly put me down for friday Hard mode at 8:00pm please (32 Titan). Can I suggest we get another titan so we can do the side room strategy ?

Done - I've learnt a new strat where everyone (bar 1) can stay on the middle platform if you don't move while one goes in to attract Crotas attention. Means youll get the swordbearer down quicker the second run...

Man got to Crota with ease tonight and just had the same bugs as Monday where it was just not possible to get a clean run, had to call it a night as seem pointless wasting heavy ammo synth when enemies were warping and Crota was jumping up from the kneel spontaneously.

Really need Bungie to increase the vault as its becoming impossible to move weapons between my characters

Sorry I had to leave after a few attempts on crota ps3ud0.
The bubble at the top of the stairs strategy seems fairly solid though

No probs - yeah the strategy seems fine, I think I still prefer the middle platform one purely because there's less people running around

One thing you can try, if you haven't already is to go back to orbit and restart the encounter again (can be another drain on your heavy ammo). This has work for us a few times when the runs start to get buggy, and always manged to get it done on the restart.

Yeah we did that a couple if times but unfortunately it just kept adding bugs. Melee knights are more aggressive if you use a titan bubble I've found but we were just having them warp or Crota just getting back up for no reason.

Seems some people did have some sort of PSN/Destiny issue before the raid but the raid was pretty standard even when we started on Crota - weirdly the same issues seems to happen on Monday when some of us had a Destiny maintenance message during Crota.

Just guessing Destiny wasn't happy with us as had no issues on Tuesday. Unfortunately I'm not around much this week after Friday...

AStaley you'll be fine - just avoid taking hits or the sword. Any tracking rockets with a decent sniper combo will be fine for Crota/Swordbearer. Middle ledge strat is damn useful for level 31s.

Is anyone up for a latish Crota hard modetonight? We're on the final encounter. Around 9. I can't be that precise re. no.s as there are two or three other people in already, but if you're on the PS4 and are interested leave your id.

I'll be running the sword but only going for three whacks per kneel as I tend to get over excited when going for more on hard mode and balls it up!

I think 3+3 then 3+3 finally 3 to enrage and hit him a few more times is pretty safe.

NPs, you guys had the right idea so tbh you would have got it done anyhow - its just that bit of bad luck/delay that seems to throw an attempt. That Titan bubble for the initial room clearance really is useful...

Yeah, it's fine. Just try it. You don't need to be or have a hunter to run the sword. People tend to prefer it because of the invisibility skills.

As long as someone in the team keeps the knights in the towers occupied, you should have no problems.

I guess its one of those additional things to go wrong - may just try it as quite enjoy the role - tempted to use the bubble at the start of the run just to protect me from Crota and the boomers - shouldnt stop me doing a 3+3 pass

Having bad luck with raid gear with my Hunter as the invis strat just makes it far simpler!
