I was going to suggest tomorrow as normally easier to drag people in when needed - happy to do whatever is easier for all really - or can attempt two runs at him depending on how many still want to get him down

Recommend VoG over CE - just the fact of the enemy level differences means the only real issues you'll have is the Gorgons (pretty easy just could be out of rotation if you bother with the chests), jump puzzle (we wiped more times than we like here due to just simple mistakes we wouldn't normally do) or Atheon bugs which have pretty much been sorted since we did it - just learn the contingencies and don't do what I've seen many do and rush to kill him when he's on low health when another portal run won't be that much of an inconvenience.

Having what is a slightly longer raid run just won't matter in the long term if it reduces wipes due to enemies actually killing you which is still a real possibility in CE NM

Got some strength armour so my Hunter will be 32 tomorrow Id expect - thank ****! Only problem is that theres little attracting me to CE, guess radiant materials will be useful in HoW...

If you are a hunter (and I presume sword bearer on hard) I will run one of my warlocks. Pigtails will take the lead this time as technically she hasn't actually done it! :eek: I picked the wrong one when doing a Crota only checkpoint so Bluey has done it more than once.... The two of them arn't talking at the moment... :p:D

Same middle plat method, just using titan bubbles in a similar area as you mentioned to distract the boomers

Im happy to swordbear if you guys need a hand - done it all characters - Ive only attempted/completed HM once as a the swordbearer Hunter though but have a fair idea what to do

Ive done the sword with all the classes, warlock is the worst because hes so slow in the air when youve lost the sword. Just use that rock you stand on normally to become invisible between sword strikes and call rocket fire early so you arent standing on it for too long.

Pretty easy to kill Crota in 10 strikes (3+4+3) when you are 32 so makes it some good practise with little pressure. Its as fun as CE gets tbh :)

Well Crota NM can be easily 3manned and no doubt 2manned if you have a titan bubble with a decent rocket launcher. Soloing it just means you only get one go per sword from what Ive seen but timing is crucial to maximise the hits - wouldnt be something I would try myself as you end up relying on a grenade to take his shield down to the end while being close enough to be killed at the same time :p...

You sure? Though I might be mixing it up with the daily mission, I so rarely find public events now (never do patrol since material farming became redundant) that Ive never worried about it

5K XP bonus on exotic weapons is worth looking out for though
