*** Destiny Raid & PvP discussion thread ***

Cheers for the raid tonight chaps - smoothest run through of hard I think I've ever had, despite not being able to communicate with the rest of you at all!

Didn't get anything of any real use for me (3rd Fatebringer!) except shards. Have plenty now to get my Titan up to level 31.

EDIT: Thinking about it, I think we we did everything first time except confluxes (1 wipe) and Gorgons. Even Atheon was done on first attempt wasn't he?

VoG has been really good for me. The only item I've not received from it is Praetorian Foil. Got multiples of all other weapons except Timepiece where I only have one.
 
Yea Atheon went down really quick.. I was expecting at least 1 more teleport so was surprised when he went down.. I guess with 5x31s we're doing a lot of damage.

I was watching his health on that last portal run and it looked like there was far too much to kill him off, but the bar was dropping fast. It helped that we got to the middle with 28 seconds of Time's Vengeance remaining. I ran out of the portal a bit too early, so I was glad to see the other two made it to the middle ok! :D

I think it was almost 40% health taken off in that last run, did you leave before the last two oracles were down? I think that is the way to get most time on Atheon.

We had a couple of wipes before even starting the Gatekeepers properly as well but overall was a really smooth run, Hezens for me so not a total waste. 1hr 18 mins according to destinydb (inc time taken for you to speak via text :) )

Yeah, I left well early - I thought it was the last Oracle but I must've left with there being a couple remaining. Just as well everyone made it back ok to be cleansed!
 
I don't have any more characters to run CE with unfortunately. If you need one more though I might tag along just to get the 2nd chest that we missed the other night.
 
Again, I'll try and be around tonight for something but can't make any promises with my flatmate :(

Was a good run though and I can get my Warlock to 31 now once I upgrade everything so happy days.
 
I'm still on the hunt for fatebringer so anyone fancy a VoG Hard run tomorrow?
