*** Destiny Raid & PvP discussion thread ***

Still able to cheese parts of Crota, the bridge part for one and the pit you can jump up onto the high ground with one player (or run with an invisible Hunter of course).

Seen videos of titan and warlock doing it not sure about hunter, but then they always have the invisibility walk :p. You need to max agility and helps to have a +2 agility weapon equipped as well. Tried it last night with my Titan and it works, just seems a bit more hit and miss then the exploding cheese.
 
I agree it is a bit more hit and miss double jumping up to the ledge. As discussed above, getting a hunter through it easy but as I have 2 Warlocks need to figure it out. I watched a video but my double jump always got killed by the weight of darkness before I got to the ledge. Obviously I was doing something wrong but not quite sure what yet.

The exploding cheese only worked once for me. I have a warlock and i saw videos of ppl doing this yesterday which was pre patch. Doesn't matter much now but if i had 3 chars maybe it would help :P

Getting to the rock was sometimes a problem but getting blasted on to the ledge I got down everytime. If I knew you were having trouble I would have helped you cheese it :) If you see me on just message me or as I am usually in a party join in and ask. I am happy to help you cheese it or if I haven't got the cheese down run in as an invisible hunter.

Same goes for missions / daily / weekly / nightfalls. I am not one of these people who are bothered about people joining. If you need to do it and I am doing it just join in :) *

* Unless you get Gjallahorn again then I might actually never speak to you again :p

Ill play with those odds.sure man once i see you i will join. I find it rude to join without asking but since i have the permission thats good :p. gf needs gjallahorn :p
 
Very productive evening, cheers lads. Double kill :)

First run was a glitch fest at Crota, second was a doddle thanks mostly to thor hitting Lvl 32 (congrats!). Just the Hunter left now :D

22 more Shards for Lvl 32....Hopefully after next week's runs I'll have it!

Yeah, was a good evening's raiding. Cheers all!

The first raid, against Crota was ridiculous. Never had the game glitch so much! The second one was pretty smooth though. :)
What a difference being 32 makes on Crota! 2 swords is all it takes, as long as you don't miss a heavy hit (like I did!).

I walked away with a pretty good haul for the evening:

Dragon's Breath
Helmet
Chest Armour
2x Gauntlets
16 Shards
10 Energy

And I made it to 32, woo! :D
 
Good run last night on the VoG. Thanks chaps :)

Highlight was making the jump puzzle first time on my hunter (first time doing it on my hunter) whilst the low point was dying 4 times throughout the run. I don't really know what happened at the Templar point. I *think* I got hit by the Templar and then got hooked up trying to find cover.

Atheon seemed to go down so easily.

Look forward to smashing him again at some point in hard mode (still want FB & Vex).
 
Any raids planned for this evening on PS4?

I've got a 31.5 Warlock, 30 Hunter and 30 Titan to do on both raids lol

I'd prefer to do CE first :)

Aye.

It seems everytime Bungie fix something, more things comes up.

Their method of *must fix exploit* always outweighs their need to fix glitches that spoils gaming experience. Watching Crota magically stand up and immediately slam Thor's little guardian... that was rather painful.

On the upside, I got me a new Ice Breaker since buying one on week 3(?), no need to keep juggling that sniper between my 2 PvE Characters now! :D

Still waiting for my Chest armour and Black Hammer... :/
