Sweet, that's 3. Sunsinger warlocks always made raids easier

Hey Mid_Gen, i'm up for this. If you will take a 32 Gunslinger to go with the Sunsingers... will solo the abyss (HM changes dependent)

I did indeed get Suros in the end. Apologies for doubting you all I now have one for each of my 3 characters.

So after picking up the boots from the bridge tonight and grinding the exp I have managed to drag myself to 32 so I wont be letting the side down tomorrow at least as far as my level goes, can't guarantee the performance though. I will try my best to be able to jump higher next time

Its amazing the difference from when we first went down to crota and now!

Would be up for this with my lvl 32 Titan, down side is I don’t yet have a 331 rocket launcher, but maxed raid machine gun (name escapes me at work), but plenty of other 331 to play with depending on what’s required.

Good mix, sunsingers self-revive and titan bubbles....and hunter for....something

I'll be on bit earlier (timezones) prob doing nightfalls/levelling up Red Death too. If we get properly stuffed on HM I'm happy to do normal, VoG HM, whatever.

Wonder if the first chest will still double drop on HM? Be useful for farming materials...

(seriously though, a hunter could always solo the lamps if required - assuming they havn't changed anything in regards to that section beyond leveling and no revives).

Should be good fun.

Have a feeling it will be like VoG, chest will only drop once, but the boss/check points will give double drops.

Well, they were going in well below maxed..

Ltjohn5 (28 Titan), LolitsKirBY (29 Titan), xHawk-eye (29 Hunter), LuckyCharms343 (29 Warlock), Ewoktapus (28 Warlock), and nicktizziebear (29 Warlock)

Not surprised they took a while. Everyone is going into CE HM maxed level, maxed weapons....which also makes me think they are going to have dumped some really lazy difficulty increasing crap mechanics in.

Everyone is going into Crota below max though due to the level 32-33 gap. The only real difference compared to the VoG team is they had two people at 28, which would be like having two people at 31 for Crota.

Right I have switched to working from home this afternoon so I will now be available from much earlier in the evening so if I was the only one holding us up from starting earlier then this is no longer a problem.

I believe it will drop from around 6pm our time so I'll be good to go anytime after that.

Looking forward to it! Hoping we can at least get to Crota to see all the new HM dynamics.

Exactly that. I see myself trying it at lvl 31 though since the stupid head actually never dropped and i need the shards to level up the other items. Probably i wont be able to down crota but the rest spots i dont think will be tough.

Well I am holding out a sliver of hope that bungie has put a bit of effort into hard mode and made the mechanics more interesting, rather than just making everything higher level.

My point about VoG is that people beat it when they were 1-2 levels below the best gear available in the game. Even with the max gear HM is still challenging enough to be interesting.

If the first section is just 33 thralls and a bunch of yellow 33+ ogres at the end with no revives and/or health regen or something equally lazy I'm going to get bored of it real fast. We will find out this evening either way I guess.

On the plus side, I've got my Red Death nearly levelled up, I didn't realise how aggressive that health regen perk was...definitely will be rocking it on the lamps section.

Exotic helm...Xur was selling for all 3 classes last week, good ones too, no excuses!
