*** Destiny Raid & PvP discussion thread ***

Wasn't feeling too well last night and this morning but enjoyed going through the Raids. Pretty effortless with you lot and the weapons everyone has. Far cry from the early days of VoG when we first got to level 27-28.

I've got extra hours to take at work and as i'm not feeling that great I'm bring them forward from 27th to today. So at least that should help me get to level 31 for tonight.

I spent an hour while having breakfast doing public events and lucked out on about 6 shards. which was nice.
 
It was a good bit of fun last night. Still no Hawk-awesome though... *sigh*

Crota played ball well enough although our timing was a little out (more because we were just having fun rather than taking it too seriously).

Tonight should be a good bt of fun - be prepared for wipes mind. HM leaves little room for error..

Should be good. What classes we running? I can do any, hunter for sword or titan for distraction duty.
 
I had no idea what you lot were on about half the time when discussing weapons, drops etc. Having only jumped back into the game I feel like I've missed so much.

I'm enjoying it again though so that's the main thing. I'm quickly getting back up to speed with everything. Just need a couple of lucky drops on the weapon front

There's no in-game method for getting a raid group together.

You really need your whole team on voice comms to the raids, so I see why they do it.

There are a few websites like destinylfg.net that you can use to get an ad-hoc group together. Your experience will vary from awful groups with kids chomping crisps and swearing at everyone, to super-slick groups that are really helpful and power through first time.
 
great thank you, I may need to be more active with this thread then. Still need to VoG and also get the expansions.

Are groups still being made for VoG Normal?

Perhaps we should re-org for later in the week? Group tonight for NF's etc?

I may be on tonight for a bit but will be AFK for quite a bit of it if I am (won't go into any more detail..).
 
I'm good either way. If it's re-arranged i'm fine, if not, I can still join in.

I'll be on tonight for any other strikes/nf stuff etc if anyone wants to join
 
Normally Tuesday / Wednesday following the reset (depending on NF's etc).

We do run NM runs as well as HM. TBH at this point a lot of us have everything we want from the raids thus just run them for the mats or for fun (to help others etc).

Well if it is or isn't going ahead tonight, the raids I mean, I'm on now so if anyones doing nightfalls etc send me an inv :)
