*** Destiny Raid & PvP discussion thread ***

House of Wolves Tuesday 6pm+ GMT fireteams
Team #1 triple NF then PoE
1) middgen
2) apatia
3) redrooster

Nice one, first team ready :> Can always have a bash at PoE first, but definitely want to do the NFs. 3x etheric light + 1 exotic shard = level 34 which means we can crack on with the level 35 PoE for the real good stuff :)

I'm up for the nightfalls before if we can fly through them (burn dependent I suppose). We never know what'll drop :)
 
bah i still have some catching up to do. I just need radiant and ascendant shards for 1st Lvl 32 and same again plus 1 or 2 drops for a 2nd. If I do all the raids as much as possible with 3 characters this week I should have 2 32's ready for PoE - possibly 3 if I get some luck along the way.

So - any raids going at any time I'm up for em all! lol.

VoG Normal for Warlock
VoG NM and HM plus CE NM for Titan
All 4 for Hunter (done CE Normal this week)

Really need a couple of VoG runs for my other 2 characters

I'll be on soon and still need the NF's but we could do with 1 more really. Davie said he want to do 2 with us tonight so that leaves 1 more for me, and if we had say another lvl 32 we could pull your lower character through (if you needed it, from what I've seen you can hold your own).

Any raids at all I'll be up for this week, only done crota normal so far.
 
OK i'm up for those too so we can do that when all 3 are on.

I'm good enough at FPS games to at least kill plenty enemies but not much I can do about 1 glane from anything = death but it's easy enough to be careful.

This weeks strike has plenty places to hold back while shooting which helps with revives so it shouldn't be at issue with my Lvl 29.
I'll not bother with the Level 27 though as I'll not even be able to help.

You can help more than you think, even if you can hardly damage the enemies you can still revive other people etc or create orbs.

Say, if its a hunter, you can go invisible and revive others where theres lots of enemies, or a warlock can self res and a titan can put a bubble up to save someone.

There's also abit of a cheap way where by someone hangs back and stays off the front line and if the other 2 die they just leave the game and join back on you alive. Like I say though that's abit of a cheese and doesn't really need to be done.
 
Anyone fancy giving me a hand on the nightfall this week, usually do it when it resets ie Tues but the guy I normally do it with isn't around.

Thanks for the runs through the NF's and weeklies guys, I feel exhausted after doing so many omniguls in a row aha.

RAID FRIDAY 8PM CE NM/HM OR VOG HM PS4 (most probably a ce nm run and then decide after that)

You need to finish HoW story before you can do PoE and it's likely (megaman also leaked) to be new strike for NF which you may also not be able to do till HoW story is done.

Assuming its not delayed HoW doesn't release till 6pm. Might be a late night chaps

I'm in! Haven't done any raiding this week.
 
Mrs finally hit level 32 on her WL last night (this had nothing to do with me helping her out at all...).

Also got her through the PVP portion of the Invective bounty. Took two games and I LOVE Hawkmoon even more now... (seriously when will mine drop?!). Had a couple of funny experiences when I forgot she was running Sunsinger with fireborn.. Jumping into a fray expecting a Nova bomb and.... I'm on fire... and dead... *yay*..

Still have a couple of weekly things to do but I am basically all set now for HoW. :)
 
Really need some decent drops in the Raids on Friday.

As for which ones we do - I'm easy on all fronts.
Still Lvl 31 Hunter, 29 Titan and 28 warlock but the latter two will have what they need for 31 with some purchases from Xur at the weekend or any raid drops on friday.

Given that I hadn't played since the end of september up until 4 days ago I'm pretty happy with that progress. I'm just hoping I can catch up enough to compete in the PoE stuff in time.

Really hits home how far behind I was/am when you guys mention vanguard rank 20+ and 100s of shards etc. I have vanguard rank 4...
I've actually cancelled my Witcher 3 order just so I can stick to this until I'm well into all the PoE content with all 3 characters.

Witcher 3 will be a huge time sink and with my final project due 1st June I don't want another addictive game trying to make me fail it. haha

Are there any runs happening tonight? Not really had much time to play this week so still have all the nightfalls to do and yet to do any raids.

I'm still grinding strikes for plasteel plate to get all the Titan gear I want ready to ascend! So glad my warlock has 1000+ hadronic stashed. Titan is definitely my favourite class now, going to main it from HoW.....defenders are going to be really useful in PoE.
