Yeah I said I'd put a list on here but never got around to it, anyway here we go:
Crota (hunt for the crux) - Friday 7.30pm - psn

Also backups who need the crux that can jump in if one of the people on the list is a no show or has less than 3 characters and don't mind letting another in for a single run, add your name here:
I put you on Oweo, Davie and Mach as you also told me to last week (if you can't make it just delete your name). Anyone else stick down your name.
No one got it to drop last week unfortunately, oh well makes more odds that it'll drop this week.

Yeah that is fine with me. I have added the Mrs as a backup for me in case I get the crux first time round. I can run sword on her Warlocks if required.

A few tips are:
- In normal crucible level advantage is disabled. Everyone is on a theoretical level playing field. Armour perks and Int/Dis/Str stats still matter though.
- Get a feel for the flow of the maps, where the choke points are, where the "action" takes place and what your team mates are doing.
- Use your radar but don't rely on it.
- Assuming you are playing a team based activity don't try and be a hero and go 1v3. Unless you are top 1% you are likely to die very quickly.
- Find a weapon load out that suits you and stick to it. You will improve even if you get killed a lot to begin with. For a lower level pulse rifles seem to be preferable.
- Try not to rage (too much) when getting killed by Thorn/TLW/Blink shot gunners constantly. I speak from experience here
- Use all of your abilities to your advantage. Heavy ammo up? You have a nova bomb? Then try to take out the enemy team on their heavy.
These are just a few basic tips which have helped me.

Good set of raids last night lads. Crota normal was as chaotic as ever!
VoG HM was probably one of the smoothest runs we've had with this group.Morg's - you did well for your first runs through the raids mate, especially the confluxes in VoG, we normally end up with dead bodies littering the place and saying "we can 3 man the last stage" but we didn't even break a sweat. Was good going!

Has any one got any tips for pvp i played a few games but got my ass handed to meshould i wait to i am level 20? as most players seem 20+
I would start with Control, it's the easiest gametype to get comfortable with as the capture points make choke points pretty obvious. Learning the maps, particularly the heavy ammo spawns will be a huge help.
Pulse rifles and hand cannons are the dominant weapons at the moment. I guess you don't have much gear yet, so keep an eye out for these weapons dropping in crucible :
Spare Change .25 (pulse rifle)
BTRD (machine gun)
Ash Factory (Rocket Launcher)
Party Crasher +1 (shotgun)
Matadar 64 (shotgun)
Low Grade Humility (sniper)
These are all very solid PvP weapons, outside of exotics/trials weapons you'll not find much better (unless you get a Hopscotch Pilgrim from strikes, which is awesome).
Top tip : don't die
If you're outnumbered, run. Choose your engagements, flank people when they are focused on someone else.
I'll give it a go. I wonder how significant the difference is. I fully expect to be invincible now.

Oh and it was only 17 rolls last week we took with RNG my baby titan had never done crota before. So it was impossible for it to drop on him. This week though I'll get 3 chances at it.

Fine for me. As last week I've only got two characters, I'm perfectly happy to run it three times so that people can maximise their drops, but if there's a person who wants my spot on the third run it's theirs.

aggressive and perfect balance is what I use but I go for chest shots which occasionally gets me a head shot with spam.
If you aim for the head all the time though you want aggressive and send it.
I think I use that. I'm still rubbish with it!
Depending on the map for trials this week I might try my MIDA load out. Write said you two invited me on Monday night mate, I didn't get the invite otherwise I'd have joined you two as I'd sent you both a message at about half 9. Live has been funny this week, kept telling the guys I was online last night all the way through our raids.

Thor, Phog, I think you're gonna have to start charging and set up some sort of queue system! Take a ticket, wait for your number, a Trials version of Argos! lol!

Ha I don't know if I'm quite good enough for carrying, but mainly because I never seem to have much opportunity to actually plough through a few hours solidly to give it a go (usually when we find the time we can get a flawless with some patience and determination). Maybe my new Thorn will make that easier
