Coolio :) Got my 45 fragments I just need to get that Oryx kill. Once I've done it and got my malice I'll happily go back to taking newbies through. Got the shell finally today so my titan is 300.

Got nearly 50 mouldering shards now :S

I am 302 on the titan but probably higher now I got more raid weapons and higher ghosts to transfer.

298 on the warlock.

If your going for a speed run I'll bring the warlock so long as we have 1-2 others using weapons of light bubbles for bosses otherwise titan.

I think I did the full raid in about 2 hours the other day with randoms and picked up a really neat gorgoroth tactic i've never encountered before and is much faster than any other I've done.

We can probably organise a time over the weekend although I think Mid_Gen said he wouldn't be able to do anything until reset.

Not sure what time suits everyone. At the very least it would be good for you to be able to see the Oryx fight and get used to the mechanics (there are a lot!).
 
Yeah I can only do one evening a week. Assuming anyone that wants to finish up before reset can get a group together later in the week or weekend.

I've done the whole raid now twice on 3 chars, got full armour sets for Titan and hunter :)

EDIT: Just a few things with regards to the Deathsingers fight, I though that doing the jumping as a Warlock was super slow etc and I found that doing it on Hunter or Titan was much faster. The truth is after doing it so many times now even on a Warlock you can still have 20+ seconds left easily. I found that the key to having a lot of time left is to jump from the last platform where you pick up the orb straight to where the Deathsinger is. Just activate your sprint and jump, you can definitely jump to any Deathsinger from any platform directly, this saves 10+ seconds easily, you can do this using any class.

Oh and the Oryx fight, once you know what to do it is not all that hard and there is room for some errors.

Titan is 300 with sword and 299 with the raid RL, 298 with my NM MG. Hopefully I can get the raid MG from warpriest.

I'll put myself in for this if it's ok? My titan is 295 now and I'm fully up to speed with the whole raid now, although like yourself i'm yet to finish oryx off.
 
Right, so im trying to get back into it.

Managed to get my guy to 210 light after figuring out that weapons have something to do with it now.

Question though, i just bought this TTK ad on and it has already tried getting me to buy some guns or something.... I thought this is just what i have spent £26 (american market) to get? Slightly ****es me off...

Is this why i can't do anything? Everything says i need better gear to play them? Does this mean an ad on or just that i need to actually get higher rated gear (from drops etc)
 
You need to get higher light level gear from drops or quests. Your character light level is a (slightly weighted) average of all your weapons/armour/artifact/class item/ghost shell.

Doing the daily story/crucible will get you 30 legendary marks a day towards buying level 280 gear from the vendors. I'd focus on getting gloves/chest/boots/shell/class item first as they are cheapest.

I think the world record sits at 45 mins iirc unless that has now been beaten.

Using the right strats and an experienced fireteam. 2 hours is very achievable target.

I take it the only time we will wait is at the exotic chest?

Are we going for the dark maze chest? If everyone knows the location of the spots it only takes 3-5 minutes.

I'll join in on this :) See if I can get 2 raids complete in 2 days. You might be on your mains but I will be brining my alt, still a high 290 (think 297 but can't remember) titan so will be fine.
