First thing I intend to do upon release is crank up all the settings to max, set the resolution to 2560x1440 and then hope for the best...Roll on next Tuesday.

Well there was this PC gameplay from a few weeks back (wont link 'cause i dunno if there's swearies :p)

h**ps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVD7ksvxgP0

In the comment section she mentions that she thinks the PC she was playing on had a 980. Obviously not final build either, but looks good and runs fairly smooth too.

NVIDIA game-ready drivers are out too:

Hopefully all of this will bode well for release then. Driver at the ready, review embargo lifted soon (before the actual release date, which is a good thing :D), and pre-load too.

970 is a 1080p card.

Learnt that lesson with my x34 lol

X34 and 1080 is gonna make this game look nuts

Sadly 970 cant do 1080p on newer games with all bling bling stuff,i know this because i sold mine 2 weeks ago after used it for 1.5y.
If you really want to see nice graphics, you dont have much choice - 980ti,1070 or 1080,new Titan)
Im not satisfied with 1080p anymore either, its bare minimum.
Not going to stay with 1070 either - will get 1080ti or whatever it will be,with 4k monitor,as well cpu/mobo/ram

That said i cant wait for next tuesday

970 does ok at 2560x1440 just runs out of puff a bit at ultra-wide 1440p. I doubt it will do so well in upcoming games like Deus Ex though.
