Guys, My mobo is on the truck for delivery today. I'm gonna be worthless tomorrow at work, but is there anything I need to know before I put it together? I just need to know some things. Frist of all, do I flash the bios (is it possible) to tonys at Big Toes modded bios before OS install or after. Next should I install 1 or 2 GPU's at first whille I install the OS. Next I know to install one stick of ram for starters in the farthes orange slot from the CPU. When do I install the second one? Is there anything I should do in the bios for a stock/non-OC set up that I don't know about? I'm sorry I'm asking soo many questions but I just want this to go smoothly. I'm a newb when it comes to this. I've only built one system b4 this and I've been having bad luck with it so I'm trying to get as much info as possible. If you have the time type the steps you took as far as putting together your rig step wise. Thanks a lot man and wish me luck :^)

I would boot using stock bios at least to start with and then flash using winflash if so required , i am still on stock bios but that maybe cuz my memory agrees with it ..
i booted with both gpus in with no problem , just enable crossfire mode when you load the drivers
i have my ram in theYellow slots
dont forget the 4 pin or 8 pin power connector next to the atx connector , i used 8 pin as my power supply has one , yours will too id imagine . 8 pin is preferred
also there is a fdd connector underside the bottom graphics card increases stability
and finally master card at the bottom
GOOD LUCK

Don't worry Nystylin you'll be instructing others in how to use the board in no time, I should be up and running in a couple of hours time.

I might try a straght boot without reinstalling/repairing XP, I really don't feel like phoning Microsoft again for a code! The chipsets are the same, so it might work.

I recently had a break of my Raid partition (on the Asus), I had moved my hard discs, the Sata cables came a little loose whilst the computer was running and corrupted the array.

I removed the hard drive from my other computer and installed it in the troublesome PC, making it the master. I installed the raid drivers into Windows whilst it was running, once I rebooted it fixed the raid array during the boot sequence, I found I was up and running again in record time.

As I use WD HD's, I moved over to the secure connect cables, they are far better.

It should Raja as mine did and that was from the A8R , ijust enabled the Uli sata Raid in Advanced which i thought was a strange place for it and up she came

Good job on the hosting of the BIOS. From what I hear it's 100% better than the shipping bios. You know what? You know you got it bad when your having nightmares about breaking a transistor off your new mobo right when you get it. Swear that was my dream last night.

Yes i looked in bios and checked it against smart guardian and there was about 0.15 difference , so a bit to watch out for
