**DGM 27" LED IPS 2560x1440 ONLY £319.99 Inc. VAT (PRE-ORDER PRICE ONLY)!!**

I've got a Dell 24" E248WFP and I got the 27" before the DGM, to me the coating on the Dell was really noticable, way more than the 24"

If I buy this monitor (gonna be a last minute decision) it will be paired up with a Nvidia Geforce GTX 275.. Is that a good or bad idea? I'm not sure if the graphics card has enough grunt to tackle 2560 x 1440 resolutions...

I seriously doubt that gaming would be enjoyable on a Geforce GTX 275 at that resolution. In terms of an Nvidia card, I reckon you would need a GeForce GTX 560 Ti at the very least and even then you would still need to lower the detail in most of the games.

A Nvidia Geforce GTX 275 might struggle quite bit with this screen. It might be okay however if you keep to a 1080p resolution.

I have a Nvidia Geforce GTX 580 and so i'm hoping this Graphics Card will manage this screen just fine at a 1920 x 1080 resolution and hopefully bit higher.

You won't have any problems with that card running at native resolutions in BF3 I run at max detail with no problems on my crossover same monitor less the pivot and height adjustable stand.

Thanks for letting me know I should have no problems with a GTX 580 and this screen running at it's native resolution.

Not height adjustable, but can be tilted.

Also just checked, both DVI ports on my 5870 show the bios, an old 7100GS nvidia card shows the bios on DVI but a GTX580 didn't show the bios on either DVI port

Hopefully that doesn't mean its a GTX 580 problem and it doesn't mean all of GTX 580 Cards won't show the the bios using the DVI ports on this screen.

Which brand of GTX 580 was it you tested?

What does this mean exactly?

Panels are often labelled SL/A1, SL/A2, SL/B1, SL/B2 and SL/Q1, what does this indicate. DP is display-port I assume?

I assume they are just referring to the screen using an LM270WQ1-SLxx panel and offering a DisplayPort interface, yes

LAST CHANCE OF GETTING ONE AT THIS PRICE - I SHALL PUT THE PRICE AFTER 3PM TODAY (£379.99)!

Do not miss out, order now for delivery tomorrow or come and collect one in our shop! :)

Just a further test...

GTX 670 cannot boot into BIOS with DVI but VGA works

GTX 460 Same as above

Old NVidia GT 8600 works a treat with BIOS working through DVI.

But guess which card I'm going to use :D

BTW Gibbo you do realise the issues you indirectly caused yesterday by not including a bag of sweets...? They have become a perfect distraction for my wife and I could have possibly sneaked this monitor in by showing her how kind and thoughtful OC are whilst setting up the monitor and then hiding the box :)
