One last thing what cables come with the monitor guys?
I'm very tempted but wondered if a few owners could help with a couple of things:
i) is it 60hz (assuming it is being IPS)?
ii) how are you finding it for gaming in terms of blur, ghosting, responsiveness etc.?
iii) is anyone using one with a single 7970 and how are you finding it with more demanding games...able to get a stable 60fps with some adjustments?
iv) if the card is likely to struggle with cetain games, is running at 1920x1080 (say) an option and letting the card / monitor upscale or are there drawbacks other than the lower res?
Any help is very much appreciated!
Thanks.
Thanks, again , Surveyor - I have written and will see what happens ; as you said one can but ask.
al4x - As I thought when I bought - I can always use DSR if it's not for me, cost of returning £10 - £15 (assuming free shipping). Not that much of a gamble.
What is the cheapest graphics card (that is ideally fan-less) I can get away with this?
Currently have HD 4000 graphics on the PC but need a real card for a new screen.
Card needs to be no worse then HD 4000 don't want a downgrade.
Edit: apparently I need to deal with DGM for a repair.
I know that I've said it twice but again - My thanks Surveyor : you are a gentleman
With DVI-> DP it still isnt displaying the bios
(using a 580)
no, you need to do DP to DP
it's the DVI port on the graphics card that is effectively not in spec so you need DP on both ends
After hours messing around I ordered the screen from OCUK. But I ordered it at 4:03 PM
