**DGM 27" LED IPS 2560x1440 ONLY £319.99 Inc. VAT (PRE-ORDER PRICE ONLY)!!**

Coming tomorrow and overclockers refunded my delivery for the misshap, great service, I'm happy with that.
Will post lots of pictures (wall mounting it).

Recieved mine today and I'm very, very pleased so far, I managed to get it wall mounted without any issue, coming from a 1080p TN monitor, the resolution is amazing to have, colours are better than TN but, I did buy into the hype a little, they're better but not spectacular. No dead/stuck pixels and no issues thus far, the monitor runs very cool (barely warm to the touch), using displayport on a single GTX 670 (2gb) with the BIOS being accessable (as someone confirmed earlier I believe) and games at 1440p are, well, quite the treat, I'm using TFTCentrals calibration settings with a slight boost in brightness for preference.

Removed the bezel via instructions on TFTcentral and post #356 which was very easy to do, I used a butter knife.

Before I removed the stand I had a quick peak underneath.

DGM next to my old, 1080p 24", not a enormous size difference but in use, there's a large difference.

Brightness set to 100% in a very dark room, the backlight bleeds a little near the top left and bottom right, the streaks of light are smudges from when I removed the stand and forgot to clean the display.

And after a couple hours of cable management, the switch is complete.

Very pleased with my short time with it so far, I will update with any issues that may occur but as of now it's splendid, I'm very happy I spent the £150 over the Korean monitors for a safer buy, and the 3yr overclockers warranty is lovely to have and added peace of mind, my experience with overclockers is a very positive one, I ordered next day however there was a lapse in shipping and it was delayed by one day, customer support via phone and forum support were extremely helpful and refunded the shipping costs immediately with an apology for the inconvenience, great service and a lovely product.

Hope that helps anyone deciding over getting the monitor, the input lag I haven't noticed yet (similar to that of the U2711) and after using matte monitors for ~10 years, the glossy isn't an issue at all (this was my main concern), if anything, it's a positive thing.

All the best.

Stand removal info

ok the first pic is when i put it back together, but first you need to remove the four screws along the bottom edge at the rear of the screen.

F8sEj.jpg

if you pull the stand a little you will see the front bezel will becoming detached slightly. there is a number of plastic clips around the edge so it will need a small amount of force, just go easy and take your time down each edge. use something thin like the edge of a ruler, a flat head screwdriver will likely damage the bezel.

when the front bezel if off, you see the lcd panel, but you need to get this out of the way. it is held in by 4 plastic clips - 2 on the left and 2 on the right. these are very easy just to push to the side to free the panel.

move the panel out of the way just enough to see the base. dont move the panel more than you have to.

these 2 screws hold the base in place

Uunq1.jpg

no more base :)

ergotron arm holds it with no problems

my ergotron thumb screws are too long for this vesa mount so i'll need to add some metal washer thingies to tighten things up. but so far so good.

Thanks ma8. Just did mine to day using Arctic Z1. Just enough room under the monitor to line up my beer!! Cheers for the pics.

I just got one of these through yesterday, set it up with a DP cable and everything was working fine until tonight.

The screen just suddenly start going black for 15-20 seconds at a time, then switched back on and windows had an error message about not being able to find the correct resolution/refresh rate for the monitor. It stayed on for a few seconds (with a lot of errors on screen) then went black again, then repeated.

I've reconnected it with the supplied DVI cable and it's back on now, but only at 1080p and obviously this isn't ideal.

Anybody had a similar issue with this screen?

Give the DP cable a wiggle at the graphics card/motherboard end.

Strangely I have issues if it isn't sitting right.

Not sure if it's the cable or the card.

Have you made sure to connect the cable to a dual link DVI connector on the graphics card/motherboard output?

Some AMD cards, for example, might have 2 DVIs but only 1 of them is dual link which you need for 2560x1440.

A lot of DVI outputs on motherboards (for integrated GPUs) are only single link.

Just wondering how that Arctic Z1 stand is m8 was looking at it before.

The Arm is fine. Nice having the extra USB ports. ( I miss my Dell.)
But be warned. If you have a cheap desk from IKEA (mine £17.00) its made from chipboard. When you tighten the clap it WILL go through it! I never thought about this:rolleyes: I placed a plank of wood under the desk.
The screw to stop it moving up/down left/right you will need a pair of pliers to secure it. Will post pics when I find out how too!

Can give info how to post a pic? I'm a post a pic virgin:D

I use imageshack.us to upload pics - select a forum friendly resolution and when uploaded it will give you a 'forum' link for the picture. copt and paste the link into a forum post here. Its pretty straightforward. If you could upload a few pics with different angles, that would be great!
