Not going to be much help I'm afraid as the answer to this question is imho that it depends person to person and therefore the individuals preferences.

My better half is not happy with this monitor as she considers the text too small for her to read comfortably. I ,on the other hand, am fine with it. (currently sitting- edge of desk leaning towards the screen at a distance of approx.50cm).- she is happily now using 2nd ,17" monitor computer, and who am I to complain:)

what size is your 1200p monitor? the amount that this one looks better will depend on the comparison in size vs. resoution (but it will look better / clearer in any case)

(without measuring I would guess my normal gaming posture is about the same as 70cm and games look much better than my old 1080 display)

My 1200p monitor is a Hyundai 24" it uses a samsung pva panel

i think im going to have to RMA my monitor, it is taking longer and longer to turn on from standby

when i first bought it, about 5 seconds to come out of standby. Now im waiting for minutes

the light goes from red to blue and im waiting for so long i think my machine has crashed but it hasnt... then it finally turns on :/

Very silly question - but it's not just your power saving is it?

I have the same - if I switch the monitor on it goes red -> blue, I get the DGM splash then..nothing.

I need to 'wake' the display from sleep by moving the mouse / hitting a key so windows wakes it up before I get a display.

the problem i have has developed and it isnt just from standby now

when i cold boot the machine and monitor i have to wait 1-2 minutes before the image kicks in

the light is blue but im waiting for ages until the image comes up :(

I really want to buy this but how is it for gaming? I have an overclocked 670. I do a lot of gaming, probably to the point you'd consider a 120hz, but I do a lot of video editing, need a lot of desktop space, something large enough to watch films on whilst sat in bed.

How nice would this look from a Cibox 22" monitor? Is it worth the £320? I'm primarily a gamer, but I do use my PC for a lot of "all round" tasks as i've mentioned above. What if I get a dead pixel or two?

Okay, it'll be mounted on the wall anyway with 80cm between the monitor on me, whether that would be too much. If so, i'll end up up buying a seperate stand for it instead.

Well, that lasted a week! Loud popping noise from inside the monitor and it's stopped working. Pretty sure it's dead.

That sounds like a capacitor or something, would TOTALLY scare me lol!

Im on day 2 of my monitor and nothing wrong so far bar figuring out how on earth the menu buttons work (and for about 5 mins that the button on the front isn't the power...)
