** Diablo 4 Thread **

I'll probably play again in season 2 when more stuff is different.
Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Got to lvl 71 with my rogue and I'm done. I'm at the point where upgrades are so infrequent, and when I do get something I then have to gamble all my gold away just to switch one property that's useless to one that helps my build.

I'm hoping with more time the game will settle a bit with balancing/adjustments, but I'm just going to hold off for now.

Level 35 with Necromancer now. Things are finally picking up; leveling was quite slow until some legendaries started dropping which greatly improve crit chance and crit damage. I'm now clearing enemies very fast l, I really like how every 12 seconds I'm getting a guaranteed overpower crit - I'm leveling up with blood atm and will switch to bone spear later and blood nova with the gauranteed overpower is destroying packs of enemies in one or two hits

I've seen videos of people saying to farm strongholds but I tried and didn't feel like the xp was worth it, it's supposed to be good because of the elites. But I found a better way to farm xp - the pvp areas are better, they have good density and spawn lots of elites

Got to 50 on rogue after an epic exp party with Vive and progressed to world tier 3. Tried Helltide and died a couple of times as Rogues are pretty squishy and I was playing like I was still a barbarian but got some good loot.
I'm finding my barb squishy playing how I normally play as a rogue! DW Style.

Got impatient and decided to solo Elias for WT4 access as a lv 55 Rogue. Was pretty easy compared to doing that as lv 60 Barb. Trap Rogue is pretty good :)

Question, would you prioritise items with a huge + all stats over others? For example I have an item with +69 all stats that I haven’t parted ways with for a while now just because I think the +69 all stats would be way better than any other item bonus…or am I wrong?

I’ve been trying that build at level 52 but it’s just not clicking with me
I know what you mean. All I seem to do is have 2 abilities, one for generate mana and the other to spend it with minions running around. I guess this is because i have no gear for the build as nothing seems to drop with any of the stats I need

I've now swapped from blood to minions/shadow

The Minion build is not bad at all, it's quite strong actually thanks to the new gems and I was finally able to kill the butcher with the minion build

And the build is really easy to play - I only have two buttons to press, the rest of the skills activate and play themselves - curses are automatically played, minions are automatically summoned from corpses and corps explosions and corpse tendeils automatically activate. You can tell the person in charge of classes at blizzard plays a necro cause they got the best malignant gems

around level 42 now on my seasonal rogue and still enjoying it, just feel like im stagnating a bit, i got hammered at the start of the wt3 cap dungeon and was like nope when i tried it on lvl 36 earlier lol

just feels like im wasting resources upgrading junk gear as i know the difference between wt2 and 3 gear, i want my hell tides lol

It is what it is

I don't think they will add new content till season 2

Arpg games are just endless grinds, they expect you will level up new characters for 3 months

I don't understand (well I kind of do due to reasons outside of the design process) why so many developers don't get how to do a good end game and make it interesting to keep playing both new and long term characters, it really isn't that difficult.
