The demographic is around 80% Black African and there are White (African) members in the government iirc.

Another two family members stopped him. The guy was a drunk and it eventually killed him. So no doubt the alcohol was giving him courage.

Their 2011 census (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_South_Africa#Ethnic_groups) supposedly puts the country at 80.2% Black African and there appears to be White members of the government (https://www.parliament.gov.za/group-details)...

I'm purely asking the question - have no particular "skin" in the game so to speak so not hugely bothered.

However, is being Jewish a race or a religion? I assuming there are more than just white Jewish people?

Was she not suggesting that it's only black people that can experience racism? So not necessarily attacking Jews or travellers, just non-black people in general?

It's like the sex/gender argument spilling over into the racism/prejudice. Conflating the two and everyone losing their minds. Even the King of the Lefties James O'Brian :) read the room and took her apart rather than attempt to save her.

The Nazi's didn't distinguish between religious Jews and non religion ones even when they knew the status of the latter group. It was the Jewish ethnicity that was the target.

This is why, despite the best efforts of some, that claims of Islamaphobia don't make sense. Because ex Muslims don't get targeted like non observant (or ex) Jews do

Can't we all just mourn the loss of Abbott knowing we wont get to watch the calamity that is her life play out in front of all of us. I, for one, am sad I wont see her making a total moron of herself more frequently.
 
In my twisted mind I see people like this and think "**** it, let's give them the keys to the country for a month and see what happens". I mean everything. Immigration, taxes, international trade, the lot.


But then I remember that I rather enjoy not having to rub sticks together for fire and then reality sets in.

She's an idiot who unfortunately had more power than any idiot should ever have. I don't think what makes a real Jew, Jew vs Jewish, White leaders in black countries and whatever else I can't really be bothered to go back and read really changes the fact that Abbot is gargantuan idiot and said some hurtful things to certain people.

Granted I could just not read it but it's a slow work day.

Well to be fair I don't think some people understood the difference between ethnicity and religion, so it's kinda valid but as with all gd threads it has wondered :cry:

Most people agree she's an idiot though, well apart from a few of the usuals

It is a pretty important distinction folk seem to have missed in their WW2 education. Did they think they could just LARP there way as Christians/Atheists and be freed lol?
 
I find it really surprising people don’t understand (or at least are ignorant to) the difference between someone who follows Judaism and ethnic Jews. Especially considering most of us grew up in schools where WW2 and the holocaust were taught.

On the actual topic at hand, the woman has left absolutely zero doubt in anyone's mind that she shouldn't be left in charge of a cupcake, let alone serve as an MP. She's very likely to have been in the crosshairs ever since her dumbass fling Corbyn got kicked out of the hot seat and has gradually been ******* everyone off more and more with her absolute delusion and stupidity. This letter was probably the nail in the coffin.

I don't like making fun of stupid people as you never know their back story but when someone as thick as her starts trying to throw her weight around, she needs kicking out. She's the poster child for the Dunning Kruger effect.

It's just a shame that in this country we currently have a choice between morally bankrupt, greedy, corrupt creeps on the face of the earth, or a party struggling to look slightly more competent than a goldfish with a learning disability.

I often see the vids on Youtube from parliament and think "really? All the people in this country and this is the best we can do?"
