Not sure why you pursued her and got her number when from the out set you didn't even fancy her. Dunno why you feel so hung up about it all really, don't worry about it. Move on. Get a grip. Chill out. Don't be a psycho!

How old are you? From the thread it sounds like you have never had rejection before.

I think you'd best draft your own conclusion lest you want to have a disappointing answer. prob something like she never called and he stayed at home

wasn't edited out, so we know he was already "making himself" happy over her, the edited part must have been horrific.
 
Unless I read all that wrong she didn't "ditch" you, as you were never an item in the first place.

From what you've said she was slightly taken aback when you asked her out, maybe she thought 'hmmmm, not sure, I'll give him my number to get rid of him for now'. She's had time to think it over and has decided that she's not really that interested, but doesn't have the heart to tell you outright.
