I'm finding Dirt 4 more difficult than dirt rally with an Xbox 360 controller in simulation mode with all assists off excluding automatic gears. I play on champion difficulty. I'm using the 2017 Ford Fiesta in Dirt 4 vs the Mini in Dirt Rally. You have to be much more careful with throttle and brake in Dirt 4 due to improved modelling of weight. Also, I can get the cars to slide fairly easily.
I am a rookie player in Dirt Rally. However, I've been playing quite a lot of it recently and have been getting quite good with the aforementioned Mini. I'm not sure why I'm having trouble with Dirt 4 when it's supposed to be easier, although I haven't played much of it yet. I've enjoyed what I've played so far and think there are some genuine improvements, other than the graphics looking better in some areas than dirt rally and worse in others while performing significantly worse.

, Oztralia for one instance going up hill pace notes "crest right 2" most hill gradients you tend to put your foot down. So l went over the crest at a far lick and there was no way l could slow down for the right turn so l shot off the road down a small embankment, pace notes should have said "crest slow right 2 or crest brake right 2".

It starts off OK, I get around 85 fps, then as the stage progresses, the fps start to drop to 18 fps where it becomes uncontrollable and I crash. This continues at 18 fps for the next race too. A restart of the game clears it but it starts again. If I unplug the wheel, the fps climbs up to 40 fps. I would have thought a wheel of this quality would work well.
