That is just flippin amazing watching that. Seriously. Knowing how hard this game is, then watching that, you would think you're playing DiRT3 instead of DiRT Rally. Have you got any of the assists on? i only have ABS on 5 and the rest turned off with manual gears.

i do love rally and fast cars :D

we have had many subarus but last one was written off by arctic lorry :(.

im 331 hrs in on dirt rally :p
 
What difficulty/driving aid settings do people tend to use on this game - when I booted it up I think I left everything at their default settings (traction control and such) - should I be tinkering to get the best out of it with a pad?

And to be fair, judging by your video you are a freak of nature so I'm not sure I should be listening to you anyway!!! ;)

I doubt I'd be in the top 10 in the world if I was the only person to have the game! :D
 
same as most of you a Logitech DFGT.200 degrees stock logitech settings with centering enabled.

was trying the pug 205 t16 on finland earlier.god damn change of trousers. :p
 
i did a video of me driving against his time. he did it 9 seconds slower than mine here


it does look nice though but his time was not that fast.

also codies twittered a picture earlier and the evo x is confirmed more or less for next update. hoping its tomorrow.

Just picked up the mk2 escort. This game is quite possibly the best experience i've ever had with a wheel, and i've played pretty much every racing game on pc with a wheel for the past 13 years. Says a lot really how good this game is.

Wasn't his driving conditions totally different to yours DG? looks like he had rain through the stage but you had dry sunny conditions...what you trying to pull lol
 
nah hes in mist ;) not rain. dont matter if rain or not. :p think its either morning overcast or afternoon over cast no time difference.rain is maybe sec difference at best if any.


just got a world record with the opel manta in finland.manta just takes in the jumps so nicely. brilliant car. gets a bit scarey though.:D

According to the official timeline, Modern Masters should drop today:D
Also, Codies said that whether Winter Wonderland is the last content update/brings the game to 1.0 is yet to be decided, so there's hope for a bit more content.

I know the feeling :D that was very impressive to watch. He so calmly goes for the gears and handbrake and then you have me, who frantically tries to work out what I'm doing with the thing :p

Nice one! do you drive with clutch and a gear stick? or just use the pedals on the wheel?
