DiRT Rally Hits Steam Early Access

If you like your motorsport and you have Sky Tv> Quest Channel-144> follows the World RallyX 2016 rounds 1+2 have been completed, Irish Tv Channel-191> follows the Irish Road Rally scene.

Well worth following for inspiration alone.
 
Just started with this - **** me it's tough!
Struggling to get any higher than 3rd in the 60s championship and just tried the Stratos - slightest bit of full throttle and it's facing the wrong way!

Good fun though, despite the rage!
 
i wouldn't touch the stratos or RWD until you get the basics down.

the lancia stratos and lancia 037 are probably the hardest cars in the game to drive.

just complete your rallys for a start and dont focus too much on being that fast that comes with practice.;)

fancy bit of dirt rally today but its hot and this game makes you sweat hard with a wheel :D
 
Yea I'm a sweaty mess after playing it :D
My biggest gripe is that you're limited to essentially 1 or 2 cars for quite a while until you complete a season.
I bought the stratos as I like it IRL but as it's such a pig I wish I'd bought something else but I can't!
 
you can just play custom for hotlapping or pb breaking.all cars tracks are open and cars are free.;)

cheers. did a nice run with lancia 037 yesterday got me a 4th in world even with clipping bend at start :p with a perfect run should be 1-2 secs quicker.



also new patch should be soon.refined handling in the making also.so plenty to come yet.
 
just beat pb with pug 205 t16 on sweetlamb.messed up a little on 2nd to last bend god damn jesus put a random rock on inside line :p

Also did my first picture in picture video with a decent world record in the 037.

That means recording whilst I'm actually playing, and it makes me lag :/ I can try it but it puts me off.

Also I play on bumper cam, and most people hate that. But I'll do it if people want me to.

I record with OBS too, so I could use some overlays. You know that one vajb uses that shows the pedals being depressed. Do you know where I can get that?
 
if you pop in his stream he should help you.hes on now i think. :D

i just did a quick run with the track car combo after few tries down to 7th in world.was sure i did it previously :p . i did one more run which i was 3 secs up on that but messed up. :D its too damn hot for it at moment so it will have to wait :p
