got 3rd in world just now on sweet lamb with my mini cooper s :cool:



so got 2 3rd places now . :D .

think i could beat that aswell as haven't done it that much in the min cooper s either.
 
This game is to much of a side project for the community input to make a difference.

The community manager already stated on the forum it's either rally school or tv style replay cameras because they don't have enough man hours to do both.

How hard can it be to make all the cameras replay style lol they already have them on about 25% of the stages anyway like the hairpins and some straights.

As it stands at the moment we've spent a load of hours getting to this point, we've got x amount of hours planned for the update packs, x amount for bug fixing and x amount for working on features and improvements that you guys want. Some of that has already been spent on the FFB update and we're in the process of working out how to spend the rest based on what's most important to you guys, its tricky to nail down what that is at the moment though as it seems to shift regularly - which is awesome don't get me wrong.

Sounds good... so you want the ffb or driving physics changed? okay then we have to cut other stuff to allow this...

core game features should get the hours they need without cutting other stuff it's a joke

you have to delegate how your time is spent . every studio dev team does this. they are just being honest about whats being done. :confused:

force feedback being fixed wasn't that one of your gripes ?

the camera changes like you speak of does take a lot of time.once you get into it. you have to work out what is best for the whole community with what time you have for the project.

got my last car last night the newer mini clubman. now i own all the cars. :D

Hillclimb is now available, 5.1GB update.



I'm gonna have to learn how to drive on it again, GTA V has ruined me. There's also a new graphics setting called 'Advanced Blending' which absolutely tanks the FPS.

Don't know what they've done to the sounds but the In-Car Audio with a 5.1 Headset is absolutely awful, it's almost painful how tinny and hissy it is :( Sounds like they have got the Channels mixed up somehow? :confused::(:o

I only play with a Headset too.... FML.
 
still sounds awesome with 5.1 speakers.
love the gravel sounds coming from the rears :D

still not tried pikes peak cos I wanna do it in career and need like 70k lol

did the ai actually get harder like it claims? they seem about the same maybe even easier?

Top 700 time in the player rankings, still 1 minute slower than AI :D although still need turbo upgrade and I think weight and engine after

Elite championship btw got promoted earlier with 4th/4th/4th LOL

Sounds fine for me through my big speakers, 5.1 and my headset sounds great. I love the sounds when you pull the handbrake now.

I needed £100k, just done some races and then i didn't pass the open championship, missed by 2 points :( i'm fairly sure because i retired on the 3rd section of the last championship.

The AI doesn't have seemed to get any harder from what i can see.

I'll give it a watch!
 
depends really on tracks some are pretty mean on times some are really easy.

some on wales for eg i won by nearly a minute up. then some on monaco you struggle to win.

if you do well throughout the rally you should be fine.its when you doing so so it doesn't work.
