DLSS Momentum Continues: 50 Released and Upcoming DLSS 3 Games, Over 250 DLSS Games and Creative Apps Available Now

1 of the many drawbacks of Bethesda not moving on from their ancient Creation Engine.

Well, unless MSI Afterburner acts up, I'm not limited by the CPU on a 4080 and 5800x3d (not yet anyway).

Not that great looking, but running around 60fps or under in New Atlantis :)) On a freaking 4080, 1080p native

Fingers crossed is just nVIDIA's driver acting up. Going full power the GPU should draw around 300W, but is only 200W there now.

Tweak the settings.... Way to miss the whole point of upscaling.

Seems you were right there calan *facepalm*

Make up high refresh rate 4k displays? Lmao. 4k 144+Hz gamers, sell your displays to drop back to 4k60 and just play on low

Keep working on the mental gymnastics, I'm away to explore the universe :)
I think you've missed the "/s" there :))

I think it might be acting up. I noticed similar on my 4090 ( with a 12700f ), 99% usage in some cases but w power lower by around 75w but thankfully the dlss3 fg keeps it at 120 fps everywhere so far with DLAA @ 3440x1440.

You can try switching res and seeing if the fps drops or stays the same?

Like even if it says 99% usage, if you get 60 fps in that spot at 1080p native, go 1440p native or 720p and see if its the same. Seems a bit low for a 4080.

Edit : apparently the lower the res the worse it performs on Nvidia cards; only at 4k it’s somewhat close to how it should be, still lower but close.

It’s unclear what’s up with the lower power draw on Nv gpus, if a driver can fix it or if it was intentionally crippled by AMD’s involvement in the game development and their ‘sponsorship’. Either way, it’s a clear outlier.

On the bright side, at least we got dlss and fg, amd users got ****** fsr and no fg. So even like this, we got the better end of the deal. Shame about 2xxx and 3xxx users, no fg and bad perf.

Is definitely wierd. Probably an update or driver update to fix this somewhat.

But, you can also get stupid high CPU usage (80% for an empty scene, basically), so that's that. Probably is tracking every major NPC in that area, doesn't matter if you see it or not. But at least it can thread decently.
Inside, it tends to hammer 1 or 2 threads (one at the time), as main threads - where I've look for this.

I can't wait for the ai speaking tech which will come with the RTX6 series and cost you £1k for entry level with 4gb vram. The tech is exciting and i agree with what he says but if no one can afford it who cares.

Not far off but I said years ago, Around the 900 series that if people aren't careful we will eventually see xx80 class cards instead of being £500, Nearing the £1000 price mark.

We have no exceeded £1000 for an xx80 class card and eventually we will exceed £1000 for an xx70 class card.

Yea it was going to be close with the 4070ti as initially Nvidia wanted to sell it as the 4080 12gb for $900. So yea 70 class over $1k at some point if things keep going this way. It's ok though we will have Ai and be able to speak to NPC's at a rich friends house.

There are always consoles and AMD make those so you are sorted ;)

I will always have the consoles any how. To keep me in good games i need them all. With PC i will just buy less often and hope what i buy can stick with what i want to play. The older i get the more sense with money i have so even if i have plenty money sitting around i just don't want to spend it on something that's way overpriced. I have a rich persons attitude without being rich hahaha.

I know what you mean. I am somewhat similar but the money your spending on consoles I spend on pc. Like my 3080 Ti cost me £575 a year ago. That's cheaper than your two consoles for sure :D

Jedi Survivor is getting official DLSS support in its next patch which should be today, Was not expecting that.

Main notes of importance for PC -

Additional performance & optimization improvements for PC, including DLSS support.

Guessing all the growing talk of AMD blocking DLSS being added, True or not, Was a bad look for studios.

Apparently this is DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation.

Update is 1.53GB in size.
