Doctor Who

I much preferred this weeks to the Cyberman story. I wasn't impressed with that one except for the single scene when Mickey went at the end.

Tonights was enjoyable no-brainer stuff, pretty much classic Who.

And for the first time ever, I thought Billie Piper looked pretty damn hot!

Thiught it was very good, I agree,, billie is very hot, although sometimes I see her and I think ewww what a moose.

Like others though, I wasn't at all disappointed with the Cybremen, thought that was very good too :)

Next weeks looks interesting.

I'm enjoying it but more and more I mourn the demise of the miniseries style episodes, the 45 minute story just doesn't do the format justice

Anybody else notice that when the Doctor and the lad were running to Muswell Hill, the Doctor had got a SCART lead in his hands?
LOL!

I said that to my flatmate and he just looked confused (bless his little australian socks) :p

I thought the Tardis was pretty accurate time wise... the Doctor used it to go to the end of the Earth thing in the first series... he was pretty much on time... so why are they often appearing in the wrong place and time now

He'd also got a betamax VCR (or at least he said it was). Your point? :)

He actually said he "invented the home video 30 years early ........... Betamax".
He should have said he'd invented SCART plugs too.

I enjoyed two particular lines in it.
The bit where the Alien was talking to them about taking over the world and that bloke just said "Wow, colour TV".

The other line was a bit deep but applies to every person on these forums.

Rose - "Tommy, go after him"
Tommy - "What for?"
Rose - "He's your Dad"
Tommy - "He's an idiot"
Rose - "Course he is, like I said, he's your Dad"

Very apt and a good lesson to learn, I know I've been there (with my mother though).
