A mix would be good, light heart and some darker story lines would help the Varity of the show. Bringing back the 2 parters might help as well it means they don’t need to use cop outs to tie up the stories ever week.

As for Moffat as show runner, your right in that his episode are still good and that the other writers don’t seem up to his level, series 5 and 6 every non Moffat episode (apart the doctor wife) was below average at best, but I'm pleased that the non Moffat episode seem to have improved with series 7 (so far)
 
Next weeks looks ok but they'll probably just sing at it again and tell it how special the human races is.

It was a better episode but still rubbish. I'm really not getting the new girl I thought she was going to be something to rival the doctor but so far she has been nothing more than singing eye candy.

Every episode now seems to be about finding a resolve or a peacefull solution. What is wrong with a good old extermination. Its all gone PC and poncy.

Bring back the Angels, Cybermen and the Daleks for gods sake.
 
Started watching tonight's, but then realised I missed last weeks. I can't see it on Iplayer? Am I blind? Or does anyone know if its repeated at all.
 
I missed the first 5 mins of it yesterday and thought ill have to watch it on catch up but after 15 more i thought... Not even worth it and cooked dinner just listening to how bad it was, my back to the TV.

I don't get how they can make these so poor and boring... I guess all the effort and costume budget went into last weeks sing along one.
 
Really not feeling this new season, very poor start. I'm not really sure what Clara brings to the table as an assistant other than her back story I guess time will tell, should I continue watching.
 
I quite liked the first episode of it's return a few weeks ago "The Bells of St John" but i haven't been able to sit still for the last 2. I've ended up only half concentrating and doing something else while they're on.
 
I thought the idea was excellent but the execution, story and special effects were appalling.

The Snowmen was an excellent introduction to Clara, ignoring her stint as a Dalek, but everything since has been abysmal. Matt Smith is so far above the level of the program now I almost feel embarrassed for him :(

Moffat needs to be exterminated or at the very least replaced as head and told to go back and write excellent one off episodes like he used to :mad:
