Doctor Who

Every time he pulls out the Sonic Sunglasses a little part of me dies inside... :(

It's the only think I do not like so far in this season, thought last episode was great, didn't even guess the twist until it was revelled which is cool. :)

Isn't there a massive plot hole before / after Clara gets taken? The doctor says something to her before she goes in to the flat, then she replies to him after leaving?

Agreed that scene with Capaldi monologuing was pretty darn good.

I feel he's bedded in as the Dr now. It's strange, Tenant has been my favorite of the new Dr's so far and I never thought I would like Smith but I did and Capaldi's certainly climbing the ranks.

So the ? ? Osgood was the Human one then I take it?

Oh i doubt it, but the osgood is so osgood that it really doesnt matter that they are both zygone.. The doc missing the point, as long as it is osgood, it doesnt matter.

Enjoyed that romp around, and coleman playing two roles just makes me think as ever that she is wasted on prewatershed tv, needs to be adult, apres watershed and making advantage of those raised eyebrows, head tilts and .....

Nom nom nom
A face for pr0n if there ever was one. But i'd settle for adult roles.

Seen a story online saying the next season will only have half the amount of episodes as this one, wonder if theres any truth t it?

Interestingly the press seem to have spotted a glaring piece of plot and applied it to recent history.
Stating the shooting down of the plane was 'insensitive'.
Although I've been active in the ISIS threads, and the plane exploding thread, it didn't actually occur to me during the watching of doctor who, and knowing it was filmed months ago, I frankly don't care that they didn't cut a scene or hold the episode.

Can't help thinking the press are just having a go at the BBC.

Finally making use of Capaldi I see, another good episode.

Remember when they split some of smiths seasons over the course of 2 years.

I respect their choice not to cut it, considering the themes and social commentary explored later in the episode. Is it better to ignore that current events have happened or to offer your own take on them, especially when there's so much misinformation and misunderstanding of the situation.

Regardless, very good episode i thought. Standard plotholes and questionable writing (the pointless three second Kate flashback?) leading up to the key scene but its execution more than made up for it.
