Doctor Who

I'd like to think there's going to be an explanation for it as part of the finale that there's been a masterplan all year long to get Missy released from the vault by outside parties (like the Master), and this along with other events will all be tied into it but methinks I'll probably be disappointed on that one.
 
I love the current Doctor and while I have been quite critical of the show over the last few seasons, I feel this season has been very good. Just enjoying it being back to basics and dont mind its more a monster of the week season than a big over arching plot.

Bill annoyed the hell out of me in the first episode she was in but she's really grown on me as well and I like her a lot more than I ever liked Clara. Its a shame Capaldi is leaving as hes been the best Doctor since Tennant for me.
 
I agree, Capaldi is great this season and I really like the new girl, nothing wrong with being normal and really inquisitive :) So much better than Clara as you say.
 
So, I've been off Doctor Who for the last seven or eight episodes, but binge watched them in the last couple of days, and I've been pleasantly surprised. There is a lot less running down corridors with loud music as filler. Less plot holes and silliness. Bill is quite good, and not nearly as annoying or gormless looking as she started out. Her haircuts are getting better every episode. The stories are decently written and engaging, and somewhat darker. I'm seeing good acting from both Mackie and Capalidi. It's almost a shame this is their swansong, when there are finally people who know how to write for them.

The sound mix is still a bit ****, with too much noise and music over the dialogue, but that seems to be par for the course nowadays for any dramatic BBC production.

Also I love how Simms has the ability to just ooze sinister :D

No doubt they will reverse the polarity or use the power of love next week to undo all this but at least we got this episode.
 
Good episode which is nice because the rest of the season has generally been utter ****. Capaldi is a great doctor but to be honest I have really liked all of the doctors. Bill is ok and she has got better the longer the season has gone on.

I didn't twig that they were cybermen until the headpiece came out just before they converted Bill. That was quite nicely done I thought.

Yes then you remember all that was said in the episode and I think how did I miss it before then.

They said "You will be upgraded" so many times :)

Also dislike the coming next week "spoiler" they put at the end, I'll watch it next week no need to spoil it for me :(
 
The most interesting bit is going to be finding out why Missy doesn't remember these events from when she was the master.
