He needs to given more than a flipping season to sort stuff out, that's all i'll finish with.

Many people are saying this. But my question to you is:
Why didnt Mourinho need more than 1 season to "sort stuff out"?
Why didnt Pelligrini need more than 1 season to "sort stuff out"?
Why didnt Martinez need more than 1 season to "sort stuff out"?
Why didnt Ancelotti need more than 1 season to "sort stuff out"?

Why is that only Man Utd and D.Moyes need more than 1 season?
Most managers would've killed to join Man Utd 9 months ago, as the reigning champions. All the resources. The money available to spend on players/wages. The support. The following around the World. One of the biggest clubs in the World.

Let me put it another way, Mourinho, Guardiola, Pelligrini, Ancelotti (but to name a few) would all have arrived at Man Utd and immediately hit the ground running. If they needed 2-3 key new players, they'd have spent £100M last Summer and then attempted to win the title this year. (Note: Moyes has already spent £65M).

Moyes bought the afro man who is useless. And Mata (a good player), who Moyes cant get the best out of. Taking the reigning champions to 7th place in less than 1 year is quite an achievement. And this, after spending £65M.

Lets also not forget the whole host of negative records that Moyes has and is currently breaking. The last of which was less than 48 hours ago, Man City scored the fastest away goal at Old Trafford.

With every game that passes, Moyes is breaking negative records and ruining the reputation of Man Utd.

The look on his face as he walks off :D

Would love to see him play football, bet he's got two left feet..

What a div he sounds..

These managers will get more than one season, yea? I don't understand really, are all those managers doing amazing are they? Are they all winning Champions trophies or something?

I don't think nor did just about anyone in football think he was tactically out of his depth. People who have managed and played at the highest level commended him on his tactical awareness.

I just think he has choked/bottled it. The level of expectation after 10 years of zero pressure in the easiest job in football has got to him. He's just not got on with the job as the boss as he would have at Everton.

If he'd done that and given the roastings and interviews he did at Everton after a loss or got them playing for their lives as he did at Everton he would be fine. I think he's found motivating these players a lot harder than a Cahill or Baines that comes in when few want them.

I imagine United are looking to move him on and all sorts of conversations are happening.

If he has indeed simply bottled it, would it be that much of a surprise? His record in the big games at Everton probably back up the arguement that he can't handle the pressure. I lost count of the amount of times Everton were coming to Anfield to show everybody they're top dogs on Merseyside only for Moyes to stick 10 men behind the ball.

The most sensible reason I can come up with is that the higher ups at Old Trafford are conspiring to get rid of the Glazers and installing a manager who would lead the club into a new dark age was the first step in that, now all they have to do is make sure he is there for as long as possible. :p

It just doesn't make sense the way he is being backed otherwise.

Tada. Agent Moyes at your service. :p

Manchester United's Class of 92 'in talks over Old Trafford takeover bid'

Moyes generally was far too defensive. I always look back on the cup semi-final against Liverpool as the prime example. 1-0 up, Liverpool were there for the taking. An offensive manager like Martinez would've encouraged the team to kill the game off. Moyes instead went defensive, and a mistake let Liverpool back into the game.

Still, he did show an ability to go for it at times. The 4-4 at Old Trafford that effectively gave the title to Man City showed he could get his teams playing attacking football. It was few and far between though.

They are flying a plane over OT during the Villa game reading "Wrong One - Moyes Out".

My goodness!

Looking at various recent articles, Moyes seems to retain at least some of the boards backing, but not all of it. Question marks are obviously being raised.

They all state that this will rapidly change if he loses the fans, and that seems to be happening now.

Once you went behind. I can't think of a big game when he went for it from the off. It was similar last season at Goodison, after you went 2-0 down you threw everything at us but when you got back to 2-2 you sat off again and were lucky not to have lost.

One thing that struck me the other day was how much stick Moyes gets over signing Fellaini, but he's still the best midfielder they have, bar a 40 year old. Mata is a wonderful signing too, and would be showing it if RvP had his thumb out of his ass. I was gutted when they landed Mata.

De Gea
Lindegard

Evans
Smalling
Rio
Jones

Fellaini
Januzaj
Nani
Kagawa
Valencia
Carrick
Zaha
Mata

RvP
Rooney
Hernandez

Ship out:

Cleverly
Evra
Vidic
Rafael
Young
Anderson
Fletcher
Buttner

You only need a couple of defenders and a couple of proper midfielders, unless RvP does move on. What needs to be done is ensure that the quality is there. Perhaps Fellaini isn't good enough, but he's better than those around him and that's how you improve a squad. Bring in better than Fellaini this summer, and use Fellaini as a squad player and that means you can move Fletcher or Cleverly out.

Rio will likely go, as will Hernandez. I can't see Kagawa staying either as Moyes clearly doesn't rate him.

Jones and Smalling are too injury prone to be relied upon, so we need someone to play properly alongside Evans, who I do like (though he's been injured for ages as well :o). That's at least one centre back. And we need a left-back too as Evra will likely go. Rafael won't be going anywhere, more often than not he's one of our better players, despite being petulant at times.

It's probably better to keep Cleverley as a squad player, I imagine he's fairly cheap and if he gets a bit of confidence he'll do ok in a rotation system, I guess.

Then there's the problem of having no great wingers, or central midfielders. Mata is obviously great but can't function out wide. Moyes isn't capable of getting Mata/RvP and Rooney all working in the same eleven, so we're faced with a problem.

As Gary Neville pointed out, Moyes, assuming he stays, needs to decide exactly how he wants us to play, and get players for that system. Trying to play a 442 crossing game without wingers or tall/powerful strikers is stupid and pointless. Aside from that we've had no real style to our play at all. It's all a total mess.

Always had the impression that Rafael isnt rated by Moyes either due to his impetuous streak.

Excluding Evans (who I agree is a decent player), and depending on the above at least two if not three defenders are required.

While its not his favoured position, Januzaj is a decent winger for the time being but we definitely need one new natural wide player. Welbeck as a winger for a season? (I hope not but you never know)

Solving the central midfield problems, a centre half and at least one full back are absolute musts

Not surprised the spastics from that website are trying to do that, what an awful way to show you want him out.

It isn't particularly dignified, no. I don't really agree with it. It will be interesting (to say the least) if it does happen though, and if the TV cameras focus on it...

People do seem to want 'The Chosen One' banner taken down, and the club have got stewards guarding it, to make sure people don't take it down. I think this is fair enough, if you take it down then it will signal the end of Moyes time as manager. It was stupid to put it up in the first place, given that Moyes was never going to be a guaranteed success, and was bound to have some difficult times.

The fans are definitely turning though, and it isn't really about results and certainly not about trophies (though the former would certainly help), it's about the doom and gloom attitude and terrible football Moyes has imposed on the club. He has no vision, no style... nothing.
