The plane is due to fly over 10mins before KO and for the first 5 mins of the match apparently.

I don't really see the big deal tbh, if the club are going to pretend that everything is hunky dory and use stewards to protect that ridiculous "Chosen One" banner from understandably irate fans this is the sort of the thing that will happen out of sheer frustration.

If you look back to the thread discussing Fergie retiring and Moyes' appointment a lot of fans had already began to say that top 4 was an acceptable target for this season(or words to that effect). Had Moyes had a clear plan as to what he was going to try to do, had he played decent football and or started bringing through younger players to replace the likes of Ferdinand, Vidic and possibly even Carrick then supporters would have been far more understanding than they are now.

when I look back through the thread I can't help but ask myself what the hell are you guys smoking? It must be chronic.

It was obvious to anyone who's watched the premier league what was going to unfold.

God i hope United trash Villa 10-0 lol..

That's so mad, i wonder who is behind the banner? they need to find out and water board the ****. Bet he's one of those Johnny come latelys that's never kicked a football...pathetic!

Says everything about some United fans..an all time low.

I can't help but wonder what fans thought would happen. The big man is gone. It's his team, his squad. Yes, other managers may have come in and done a job from the start, but if they leave after a season you don't have the stability the club craves. That's what they were after with Moyes, stability. He's shown at Everton that he won't run away when it gets tough, and he's shown that he can deliver consistency.

That he has no backroom staff to aid him undoubtably cost him at first.

I revel in their awfulness, and I voted that he should be kept on as "Rival supporter - Keep him, genius at work ", but I do also believe that. He should be kept on, because he's still going to be able to offer what was needed. I feel that the owners want as close to what they had before as possible. They don't want a revolving door like at Chelsea, even if that has brought silverware.

The people at Republic of mancunia are apparently the ones behind it

I actually think that Fergie picked Moyes on purpose knowing he was going to be ****. Makes him look like a Managerial God winning the League last year compared to how Moyes is doing this year. :p

Meh the best thing Moyes could do with that plane buzzing around with the banner is to just ignore and carry on. No need for him to react to it or anything, just ignore it and carry on.

It just proves that fans of all football clubs can be utter idiots at the best of times.

Apparently not, they know better by the looks of things. Like the guy said, so naff. Doesn't solve anything. He isn't going anywhere..

The guy mentions then that the Glazers may get the impression that everything is dandy at the club because of the banner and stuff. Moyes himself will say it's not good enough, so i've no idea why they say the Glazers may think that it's all fine.

It was what I read on the caf yesterday as I never go on Republic.

How would it give the impression things are going well? Are they going to assume it's rival fans worried he's doing well?

I'm sure they're well aware of the poor performances we've had this season not just judging by League position...

Is this what football fans call for their passionate sport?

It's gotten worse it seems. I don't understand why there is so much hate nowadays.

Yeah, they aren't complete numbties, very silly really. Eveyone at the club is fully aware it's not good enough at the mo..

I was talking about the writers of ROM, i got the impression that the people who ran ROM were behind it, that's why i linked to the article.

It's money i think, there's a lot of fans that start going to games to feel good at the end of the week and when they spend hard earned cash seeing their team lose, it hurts. Also footballers getting the wages they do, that brings out complete jealousy and anger.. It's a shame. Blame supply and demand, blame unregulated capitalism. Just don't curse at people you don't know. The hilarious thing is, these guys would be the first to get a picture with a footballer and post it on their twitter account. Fans are fickle at the end of the day, not all of them, but a truck load are..

The writers of that site are also as I described.

Football fans are ******s, I wish we could toss in all the violent ones/ones who sing disgusting things into a pit and have them burnt.

When Hodgson was ruining Liverpool, didnt Liverpool fans want Hodgson out?
I don't see any difference.
Liverpool fans wanted Hodgson out.
Man Utd fan want Moyes out.
Moyes has broken so many negative records, the mind boggles how he is still in the job.
Even AVB, who was in 6th place with Spurs, got the boot. Yet Moyes takes the champions to 7th place and feels that his job is totally rock solid secure.
Arsene Wenger is in the top 4 and his job is under threat. Yet Moyes is bullet proof. Am I missing something?

I can understand why rival supporters want Moyes to stay, but why would Man Utd fans want Moyes to stay?

Of course you shouldn't want him to stay, the fans at the stadium need to be more vocal about it though in a bit more tactful and less expensive (wasting money) way.

Should've been done ages ago, fair play to the ones who have managed to say he deserves more time, albeit stupidly, should've been gone before 2014.

What about Clarke? Would West Brom be where they are now? The same can be said for the clubs near the bottom as well, Cardiff ? Fulham? Its all if and buts. AVB could be doing better, Soldado could have found his shooting boots instead of being relegated to subs..you'll never know..

Aye when you think about it, it's a fairly passive aggressive way with this sign :D
