Chicharito was tweeting a couple of hours ago and RvP earlier in the season...there are rumours that there are serious issues in the dressing room and Moyes has lost the confidence of the team overall. Moyes having a go (reported in The Times first edition) at the team, calling them 'mentally soft' won't help either...

Moyes looked like a defeated man earlier also.

Moyes appears to be bang on with that.

Hernandez is bang average anyway,

Great find. When Moyes was appointed and I said pretty much the same as what Tom said in that thread (see below), I got shot down by lots of people, including 1 person who agreed with Tom's post at the time:

Tom wasn't far wrong back then. SAF should have given us another season so we could have potentially lined up a top class replacement. I'm sure SAF could have signed a couple of decent players to keep the squad at a better standard than it is now.

Unfortunately, not that many of us saw the fact we were prepared to take a massive gamble that he'd "come good" and turn into a great manager, rather than getting a ready made one. It did seem inevitable though.

You must have a list of people you would actually like to have the job, Mourinho aside as we know that cannot happen now.

van Gaal
Hiddink
Ancelotti
Klopp
Simeone

I'd take any of them, impossible to actually know who would be available or interested though. I think Simeone would be the biggest gamble out of those names, but it would be an interesting one.

Lol klopp is to management what lehman is to goalkeeping. Major drama.

But now th3 question should be not if Moyes should go but how can he stay?

For any team aspiring to defend their title, 3 points at home against the bottom 3 clubs should be mandatory.

Wednesday will be interesting. Both teams need 3 points urgently after previous performance. Could be a cracking game.

If Moyes loses though he'll certainly be in trouble as the gap to the top clubs will increase even more.

Im not sure why 3 points is more important to UTD now than it waw before kick off on Sunday?

would have thought it was obvious, no? Their goal is to finish in top 4. Losing to any of the top 4 teams therefore makes that much more difficult

Getting 3 points at home to bottom of the league is more important as Arsenal are too far ahead of us to catch anyway so it's hardly a 6 pointer. Unless im looking at a different league table to you.

The 3 points should be a home banker and given recent results and signings it was imperative to win no?

Personally I think United fans need to accept that it's going to take time. You've had a manager for the past 20+ years, no-one is going to walk into your life and fill that void, and make you win things the way you were. It's going to take time and a managerial merry-go-round will no help you.

If players are going against Moyes and he's lost the dressing room then those players should be dealt with accordingly, are they going to go against anyone because they aren't SAF?

As a Manchester United fan, I've voted to sack him.

I think the performances and result speak for themselves and whilst the squad he took over isn't exactly robust as previous United teams, it's certainly a squad that's capable of achieving better results.

Moyes' praises have been sang loud and clear for the past 5+ years because people wrongly believe that the collective players at Everton, as a team, have been over performing due to Moyes' management. Actually, if you look at Everton's squad over the years, on paper, they've had the right setup and players to achieve ~6 position in the EPL. I think this is proven by the fact Martinez's Everton is currently in or around the same position you expect them to be, whilst playing more exciting football.

I wasn't expecting to win anything this season, but I wasn't expecting to question the probability of us qualifying for the Champions League and I fully believe we won't. That's a two horse race between Liverpool & Spurs in my opinion.

Agree on hiddink, ridiculously overrated

I dunno, the guy has got a bit of tactical nous. I'd say he's lacking in loyalty, he scooted out at the first sign of bigger club coming in earlier this season...he caused quite a mess up there actually..

Couldn't agree more, it's criminal how often he doesn't get a game.

He's offside far too much for me, he's gets into great positions but his anticaption is so poor. Utd need a new striker in the summer for sure.

You clearly recognize or know good football, the manager has brought in a change of tactics that are prehistoric, against teams like Stoke and Fulham who set themselves up to eat crosses with large centre backs, what do we do, feed them crosses and hit a team mate around 10% of the time. he has them making crosses to players like RVP, Rooney and Mata, they like to play the ball with their feet where they excel, he is literally negating their greatest assets because he plays on number averages like Sam Allardyce. He is a M.O.R.O.N.

you're just one of those people that like's to think he's better than the rest because he won't call for the head of someone, ironic forum name.

Actually you're quite wrong.

I would say he needs to go if that's what I thought, but you can't transition from the legacy SAF left easily. It's something you have to go through and that's what United fans need to accept.
