He doesn't see that Jambo, he bypassed my entire post and went to the SAF legacy view which has nothing to do with my opinion on David Moyes and never has.

You mean the rest of the post where you are mocking me?

Sorry, maybe construct a decent conversation on the matter, and not some post fill with snide comments (as that's how it comes across).

Q) Ao a Liverpool fan does this equate to me having a pop?

Oh, and Robbo, sometimes managers just get the tactics horribly wrong, christ, Rodgers has done enough of that.

not really possible to do though is it? Fergie's had a few assistants at Man U and with the uncertainty of when he was going to retire who was going to hang on to take over when they're being offered managers positions themselves.

I'm sure Moyes knew well in advance he was going to be chosen by Fergie but by that time he would have been in the latter stages of his contract with Everton.

It is fully possible, and all that it needed was a clear decision from the manager as was.

Out of interest why would someone not have been brought in and groomed to be a long-term successor to Taggart? They pick up the mentality, the diet, the training methods, and it means the smoothest transition. It means the back office staff are going to be more inclined to stick around and there'll be less change overall.

Wasn't needed, just giving the job to a decent manager would have been enough.

I like the fact that all the Liverpool fans are having a pop, must mean will still mean something :D

It's when it stops we really need to worry!

:D

Obviously no way of knowing whether there is any truth but its being reported in Spain that Utd offered £17m for Athletico's left back Luis in Jan (now I dont know what he is currently valued at , even if this is in the ballpark, but at least the club tried to strengthen this position) . I dont know how big a name he is in his own right, but with AM doing so well and him appearing to be a core 1st team choice, this was surely unlikely.

I think all the United fans want to see is progress. Just something... anything.

I don't expect us to win the league anytime soon but I think it's wholly fair to question things when it all starts going backwards, which it is and it seems to be now gathering reverse pace at an alarming rate.

Just popped in to see what people are saying after yesterday.

Got to admit to taking great pleasure in watching Moyes over celebrate a goal against Fulham for ***** sake. Then on top of that Fulham of all teams get an equaliser. :p

Got Sky Go this season so been watching it all live & have to say I'd pay Ten times the amount I do to watch what I've seen in recent weeks. :D

The SAF retirement/Moyes appointment thread makes interesting reading now. Oh how badly it's gone so far. Baz was right, he seemingly can't change his tactics at all, not even a tiny bit. :(

It's also pretty clear that almost all of the support for him was because SAF chose him, not because of his (lack of) credentials or style. I think it's been pretty clearly established that the chance of getting two long serving managers in succession is extremely small.

I'd still like him to turn it around but that looks close to impossible now.

Can't remember what Pundit said it but 1 of them said about somebody walking into the changing rooms & whether he is known as a Winner or not, This seems a bit silly maybe but when I look at him I don't see a Winner & as I don't see a winner then I don't see any of the players seeing him as a winner either.
Just something that stuck in my head tuther day.

That's true and Moyes calling the players "mentally soft" isn't going to help. As average as some of them might be, they've got medals and he hasn't.
