The Pundit wasn't even talking about Moyes at the time but I just thought to myself what the Man U players think when they look up at Moyes ?
After the last couple of weeks any chance they may have given him must have gone well out the window, If he stays the players will leave like Rats from a sinking ship first chance they get.

I've seen plenty of people say that about Moyes too. Maybe the players do think it.

Moyes is a winner, he doesn't need trophies

The counter argument is that the players will not leave Man U as it's Man U but in my opinion the players play for themselves first then the team second. There at Man u to win medals/cups/trophys & to play in Europe not because it's Man U, As soon as they realise there's No Eurpean football & No chance of a single medal there body clock will make them move, No player has the time to wait for Moyes to get it right.

You are being Ironic aren't you ???

Baz was right, he seemingly can't change his tactics at all, not even a tiny bit.

To be fair, I only said it was a (needless) gamble to take, not that he can't adapt. He still might come good but you've taken a massive step backwards before that might happen.

It doesn't look likely at the moment. At least he'll surely now have to try something other than the outrageous crossing game that's failed horribly so far. Even cutting it back into the box would be much better than lofted crosses (something RvP can take advantage of).

Got Sky Go this season so been watching it all live & have to say I'd pay Ten times the amount I do to watch what I've seen in recent weeks. :D

I know this feel

Finding myself actually interested in Man Utd games now just to see how they do

Everyone seems to be focusing on the attacking tactics.

What about the defence? Moyes was known for his solid defence, wasn't he? Everton was never an easy team to beat.

What's gone wrong? Too much change in the back four? Too many injuries?

I've yet to vote in the poll but I'm starting to sway towards him getting the chop. If it's confirmed that he's lost the confidence of the players (sure looks like it) then I think he has to go, especially given the points I mentioned earlier in the thread.

Vidic is past it, as much as I love him, it's been a few years since he's been the rock that he was previously.

Evra....has been going downhill for a while now, everyone can see that. I mean how many goals conceded has he been responsible for this season?

Rio...don't even need to say anything.

Im surprised United didn't go for Zouma. I hope they get Mangala and Shaw in the Summer.

You mean the rest of the post where you are mocking me?

Sorry, maybe construct a decent conversation on the matter, and not some post fill with snide comments (as that's how it comes across).

Q) Ao a Liverpool fan does this equate to me having a pop?

Oh, and Robbo, sometimes managers just get the tactics horribly wrong, christ, Rodgers has done enough of that.

You're not stating any reason why we should keep him other than 'Sacking people is mean, you should give them a chance'.

Please just state why we should keep him, what's he done for the past ten years or 6 months to show that he's a top coach?

Rodgers makes a mistake now and again, he doesn't run into walls, then run into them again and then run into them again, literally expecting a different result. Moyes is completely devoid of a tactical thought.

What would you have done mate when Fulham went 1 up?

What would you have done mate when Fulham went 1 up?

Moyes set out the team so that his main stars went missing. Where were Mata, Rooney and Van Persie?

All I saw were wingers and failed crosses, not even attempts to play the ball through the middle of the field where United's best players are situated. Good tactical play would be to mix up attacking style to draw the defence out of position and knock them off guard. As it was all Fulham had to do was set themselves up in automatic cross defending mode for 90 minutes, and they got a point out of it. You could see Fulham had done nothing but cross defence in training all week preparing for how they knew Utd would play.

If you can't see how hopeless Man United's strategy is under Moyes your fooling yourself. Go and spend some time analysing some Chelsea games and see the massive contrast in strategic competency.

Firstly, I wouldn't have started with Ashley Young. I would have started with Januzaj. Why wasn't he, why didn't he start against Stoke either?

You tell your players to play football and play to their feet when you have RVP, Rooney and Mata (and Januzaj) Intricate and quick passing that all these players can do, to work angles and opportunities.

You wouldn't lob percentage balls high into the box for tall centre backs to eat up. It's just absurd and a complete waste of the wealth of talent we have up front.

Players don't just swing record amounts of crosses into the box by chance, with the manager constantly referencing them in interviews, that is his tactics.
