Go re-read the thread, see if the magnitude of common sense finally sinks into that putty of yours.

that's not a very good argument bro?

Are you talking monetary speaking for the club worldwide? them moving from 1st to 3rd and then back to 2nd then down to 4th...blah blah blah what ever it is... Is that what you talking about?

Moyes didn't have Lukaku as well, he's been a decent player for Everton, that's just right place right time. pure luck..

Would he have picked Everton if Moyes was still there though? Look at what Lacina Traore said about Allardyce before coming to us, these things do matter to players.

It's an argument covered on many occasions, that you're incapable of recognizing. Try again, after all, there is the Infinite-Monkey Theorem.

Seriously did you actually need me to type that out for you?

From previous posts I know you struggle with simple concepts so maybe you did.

Yes because you have just contradicted yourself nicely. You posted a chart which you said showed you don't need personel changes to change a style of football and then you go about telling me the changes at Everton. One minute he's done it with no changes and the next we lost our most valuable player (one of a few changes he made, Barry for one being exceptional in my view)

It seems you that can't grasp the simplicity of it and inside of a few posts contradicting the points you have been making.

So what's it to be, your link showing Martinez changed the style of football without changes in personnel or that he did actually change the personnel?

So are you now admitting your wrong and he changed the football with changes to the team? (This should be interesting)

Guys, you really need to stop feeding him, it's clear exactly what he's looking for.

Fairly eloquent from Mr Kebab, as always.

Don't see why not, Pienaar had no trouble getting back on the bus to Everton after he'd been at Spurs..
were you after Lukaku last season?

yet again, you haven't said anything of any value..

He has potential, but not at this time.

Needs removing for a manager that will bring back the days when united attacked with flair and pace. All we have now is misplaced 1-2s and hoof-and-hope.

Hardly. By changing I am talking about wholesale changes, not a change here or there. If you can't comprehend that I don't feel you can move forward with this conversation. ..

changing a person is not to be considered the same as changing personel. ..

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/personnel

a. The body of persons employed by or active in an organization, business, or service.
b. (used with a pl. verb) Persons.
2. An administrative division of an organization concerned with the body of persons employed by or active in it and often acting as a liaison between different departments.

Ah well I guess I can't help you if you can't help yourself.

Quality back pedaling rather than admitting you contradicted yourself. They didn't just change a person. So in this world of yours how many changes to the team did Martinez have to make it a change in personel?

I think we know Martinez improved the football at Everton considerably, that is beyond doubt but to suggest he did that without a change in personel is laughable at best. No I don't expect you to admit you are wrong, I knew you wouldn't.

He had a change of people on and off the field. If that's not a change of personel then enlighten me too how many is. 6 of 11 players and 3 members of the coaching staff. Or does it have to be 9 of 11?

Lets sum this up with one sentence and you can give me a yes or no answer to it.

Q: Martinez considerably improved the play of Everton without Personel changes, yes or no?

You tell me how many of the everton squad have significantly changed from last year ?

It's not my problem that you inferred this incorrectly if you already know that I know that Fellaini has left.

The base of the squad has not materially changed from last season, just like Utd. Except Utd bought in 65 mills worth of new talent while everton have lost a player or two on the other hand and have replaced tjem almost like for like.

is this Moyes squad or still fergie s? It's still fergies squad at Utd. And it's still moyes squad at everton...

I just read this in a BBC article:

BBC said:
Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, Darren Fletcher, Shinji Kagawa and Fellaini have only scored two league goals between them this season and, incredibly, do not boast one goal assist.

That's actually amazing...

That's not that surprising tbh, 4 of them barely cross the halfway line and the other one has basically been exiled either out of position or to the bench.

Ignoring Kagawa because he has barely played this year it's not like the others set the world alight in stats last year.

Carrick got 1 goal and 4 assists
Cleverly 2 goals and 3 assists
Fletcher 1 goal and 0 assists (he barely played)
Kagawa 6 goals and 4 assists

There's still time for them to beat those stats ;)

Still though, 2 goals and assists this season vs 21 last season, with 70% of the games played.

I suppose it underlines how badly United need to improve the midfield, but also the change in tactics that Moyes has adopted.

Its not a new story - Man Utd's CM's havent scored goals regularly for donkey's years

(and Kagawa scored majority of his last season in one game, and this season on the few occasions he has played its been out wide)

Complete non-story

Paid £15m initially, sold for £27.5m initially, dunno exact details of add-ons for either fee but I'd guess they're probably similar.

If that is anything like accurate, one bright spot of not doing well is that we wont be paying much of the add-ons (if any at all) for quite some time lol

You know Moyes is the right man for the job when a Leeds fan is his biggest advocate...

Wonder what the poll would say if it was started from fresh now.

It'd be interesting to see... but I don't believe you can reset polls on VBulletin. So a mod would have to make a new thread with the same poll, and lock this one, I suppose.

I still want to give him two years even I'm annoyed but I think some of the players have to go like Carrick, Cleverley, Valencia and the three 30yo defenders. He needs to get his own players. Roy Keane is spot on about us needing 6 new players, the players are a disgrace for not wanting to play for Moyes.
