The longer Moyes is at United the more damage he is going to do, wrong man for the job simple as that. Backing him now and giving him another year will do more harm than good for the club imo.

Fergie should take responsibility and tell Moyes that the board have lost confidence in Moyes and that he should step down as manager for the good well being of the club and give him a couple of million to walk away even though he doesn't deserve it.

Do us all favour ? I think I am the only one who does not have you on ingore... Let me fix that.

Yes, yes I'm sure you are aware of what everyone has their ignore settings to. Oh no you have tried to get a reaction by telling me I'm going to be on yours. How will I sleep tonight or more to the point why do you think I would care?

You clearly thought I would which is why you had to do it publically, oh the drama. Children, it was half term here last week. Must be different down there.

I agree Baines was not the signing they needed. Plus would signing another Everton player not just get Moyes more abuse for having to dip back into his old players? 3 or 4 years younger it might have been a good shout but he would have been horrifically expensive for his age.

Better than Evra defensively as well, if he's going to play crosses he might as well get the Leagues best crosser from the last few years! Googled a good article from beginning of this season linky

Didn't make quite that much on him, was nearer £12.5m. If you want to give us the extra £7.5m go ahead though ;)

And I'm not sure, it's barely a year since Jag signed a new contract. Since then Everton have got stronger, and Man U don't look quite so attractive. Wouldn't put it past Moyes to come for him (see above, he likes players he knows and trusts) but I'm not 100% convinced he'd go - he's seen what happened to Lescott. If he was a couple of years younger maybe, but he never ended up at Arsenal, so I doubt he'll end up going now.

Was Fell not like 10/12mil? ah...fair enough then.

Yeah he signed a new contract but if utd coming calling, i'm not sure he can say no. I know Everton are doing well and all but the potential at united is a different league really. All comes down to money i suppose, if Martinez has got someone lined up and what not, you'd accept. Distin is having a cracking season, what a player he's been for you. fine athlete..

Yet they have scored less goals. Not that I'm disagreeing and Martinez is indeed playing more interesting football the results though are the same.

Where as Moyes is playing worse football with worse results at United so it's not really a good comparison :D

My point was you don't need to change person ell to play differently. ..

Baines said no, I honestly believe Jagielka has no desire to leave either. He could've tried pushing a move through to Arsenal a few years ago when they bid £10m for him, but he didn't. I don't see him leaving us for Man Utd at all.

Baines would have been a pointless signing. Left back is just not our problem. In fact on tuesday night like several times this season Evra was one of the few players who looked like he gave a ****.

I've said this so many times. Everyone wants to replace Evra someone who consistently plays well in 50 games a season...

but no one's looking at our make do and mend right back which has been in upheaval since gazza neville left....

are people actually blind?

If young wasn't a lazy winger and we weren't so desperate for any creativity would Evra have to make 15 eighty yard runs overlapping the winger every match?

When I suggested Martinez was benefiting from a solid platform Moyes had in place people where quick to say the changes in personnel Martinez made. Now people are saying he changed the style without changing the players.

Which is it? :D

Paid £15m initially, sold for £27.5m initially, dunno exact details of add-ons for either fee but I'd guess they're probably similar.
Ah ok, not bad still..

I'm not sure, maybe Moyes convinced him to stay or something. Time passes though, Jagielka might feel it's time to go if it's a chance of winning medals. i'm not sure though obviously.

Evra's a good player but he just doesn't have anyone to take the load off. He's poor defensively aswell, stale concentration at times..
A good house has a solid foundation..

Why doesn't he deserve it? He's on what they offered him.

Need's to be given time, I don't think we've quite struck the iceberg yet, maybe once we're in the championship the retarded minds on here will see the light of day.

Better late than never, right?

Fortunately for united fans, being relegated will never be on cards really..:o

Well he had a decent team in place before he left. Uninspiring on all fronts.

Martinez helped to close some deficiencies and has lost Everton most valuable player (Fellaini).

Moyes hasn't lost anyone at Utd. Had the team who won the league. Spent best part of 70 million and we play like crud whilst everton play better than previously.

Seriously did you actually need me to type that out for you?

From previous posts I know you struggle with simple concepts so maybe you did.

Mid-table is basically a relegation.

:D..so ridiculous.
It just shows people's mentality though when they've had success like that for such a freakish amount of time (90's/early 00's). They scratch and claw like little ***** to hold onto it, absolute babies..:p

Bow out ffs!! :o:rolleyes::p

Moyes didn't have Lukaku as well, he's been a decent player for Everton, that's just right place right time. pure luck..

You're soft in the head if you don't recognize one season out of the champions league will massively change the club's position in football.
